still cannot complete Ancient Vows in Cruel

Been almost a month now and I still cannot complete the Ancient Vows quest in Cruel. I accidentally dropped one of the relics on the ground and it just disappeared with seemingly no way to get it again. Has anyone found some solution to this or are we just stuck waiting for a fix?
