None of your EA currencies, charactesr or gear will make to permanent Standard, they will stay in Early Access Standard when the general launch happens.

It is, in fact, a full wipe on release.

we know about this, but hundreds of thousands of people who simply bought access on the site - where could they read about this when buying the game? About the fact that suddenly, EA will wipe as if it were CBT?

It was stated during the reveal livestream and in the pre-launch FAQ located here: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3587981. The FAQ was 2 weeks before start and livestream a week (?) before.

Thats not a full wipe. The characters are still available. Just in the Early Access League. A wipe would mean total deletion.

And since PoE is a league based game the whole thing is not really any different from any of the future league updates. It will be the same as PoE1. League characters move into Standard when a new league is launched, every 3-4 months. And the new league starts out fresh for everyone. Nothing is "wiped" or "lost".

ah, that's the reason some people with thousands of exalts are trading not in their hideout but in caravan instance.
