Combat Log for Death Recap

I want this for POE2. A lot of times I have no idea how/what killed me. It would be good to have a combat log to refer to so I can adapt as I play. Most of the time I am guessing or it takes multiple deaths to figure it out. On maps, with the XP penalty, that's not good. Thanks.

Absolutely. Like once every 3 hours I get one shot from off screen on a map and I just would like to know . . .

I don't understand why this is such a taboo topic. With some googling it's apparent people have been requesting this for over a decade. How am I supposed to improve my character or know which hole to plug if I have zero idea what occasionally one shoots me?
And the tool probably already exists, how else would GGG debug combat stuff and crunch numbers. Just make it a bit user friendly and slap it in a tab in the chat panel. How hard or expensive can it be... |

You will never get this because i assume number can be absurd like white mob crits you for 10k dmg. It will be really frustrating
