Legacy of the Vaal: Speak to Doryani quest refuses to go away

As the title says, I've completed the campaign again on a new character and this time the quest notification on the right hand side for the "Legacy of the Vaal: Speak to Doryani" quest does not want to go away no matter what.
I've gone through all dialog options I have available with Doryani in all the locations I'm aware of him being in. Also tried redoing the final fight with him. And all to no avail. It's OCD triggering having the quest listed there, so please resolve this issue or allow us to hide quests. Last bumped on Jan 22, 2025, 7:18:11 PM

I think the quest "Speak to Doryani" after you finish the campaign and go in maps, can be completed if you go in the encampment and go through the portal. That's where you find Doryani, next to it.
If the quest remains, that means you've probably seen one of the big monuments on the atlas for the pinnacle bosses, and it will go away once you located the keys. I'm not 100% sure though. |

yup, everyone else had it fixed just by going back, but i had to see what the big death tower was all about. rip to a chunk of my screen space.

Yup, I haven't been able to get rid of that quest for over a week now.
I've talked to Doryani in all locations, even in the A3 town which isn't accessible by waypoint anymore and the quest still persists. Pretty annoying. |

Bumping, have this problem as well. Thought I had a lead when I went to act 3 normal zig town (present) by going to the drowned city and walking out, where I did find Doryani with a quest marker. Talked to him, quest marker went away. Talked to hooded one, quest marker went away. Objective still listed. Tried this on Cruel, no quest marker. Went to Zig Refuge. Nothing. Hideout, nothing.
Could have been caused at one point in act 3 normal when I portaled out after beating Doryani (before speaking with him) to drop off a full inventory and come back. Not thinking, took the time portal thinking it would still take me from past-to-present, but the portal in the past also links to Riverfront, where it sent me. Could not get back to Doryani for dialogue in act 3 normal without rerunning several sections, so I left it alone. |

" I should add, there is no way to get to the past in Normal after completing it that I am aware of, and if a player in Act 3 Normal invites me to a group, I am not able to teleport to them, with a system message saying I do not have the required quest state. Something's all screwed up in the logic here, hopefully it can be fixed. |

+1 it's still not fixed and it's very annoying. On my second character I can't get rid of it even tho I have completed pinnacle of flame.

I was able to get rid of this problem by just going back to the Ziggurat Encampment Waypoint in Act 3 Normal. After going through the gateway the portal, the open quest was instantly marked as completed.
