The fanbase has growing, valid concerns. When will we know future plans for POE 2?

All of you complaining need to go touch grass or go hug your families. Life is more than just video games guys.

This is a very important game. Fans are protective of it in this world gone mad by corporatism and nihilism.

People want aspirational and good entertainment, it's wroth fighting for. And for what it's worth I had a great Xmas with my family as I hope GGG did.

It's time to get back to making this a great game.

If this game is super important to you as a human being...your priorities are all messed up mate. Get off the computer, go up to your wife/gf/bf/husband and give them a hug and go outside and breath air...its only a video game.

They're human beings and if their company wants everyone to take off 3-5 weeks for the holidays after probably working hundreds of extra hours to get it ready for launch...let them.

What's the plan?

The plan is for them to read this very thread, interpret it properly and then do everything in their power to ease your personal concerns so you can sleep well at night.

This isn't a platform where GGG communicates with us. This is a one-way communication platform these days, especially the feedback section. We write and discuss the state of the game, give feedback and play the game. They (or maybe AI) read it, look for regular/recurring concerns, discuss their validity and if they agree, they plan their actions.

I don't think their goal is "now". Their goal is the end product, and I don't even think they know for certain how that will look like.

Give your feedback, dude (it's very important), but save yourself the time of writing them in a way where it seems like you are demanding answers. They aren't coming, at least not to you directly.

Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.
1: Company's releasing stuff for Christmas and going on vacation isn't unique, its pretty common. Gotta get that holiday rush.

2: They obviously planned for something closer to a PoE1 league launch for their early access - the hype way surpassed their expectations, so its not like they had a launch plan for a full release title. They were likely expecting at most 100k to 200k when they did their announcement and lead up, not over one million. They can't just scrap their holiday break (especially when people plan vacations months in advance) because their early access paid testing launch became so popular.

3: Most of the 'valid concerns', while might have a point about balance concerns or some things being too potent, are mostly over hyped by click bait youtube videos and the game's unexpected popularity. Its not something that's going to destroy the game audience in the days/week until GGG gets back to work. There's also nothing wrong with taking a break from the EA and returning when a major balance patch or content update is launched, such as the druid release Soon(tm).

I mean, one could easily say that lecturing neckbeards on the internet isn't the greatest use of time either. Can you explain how your pissing your time into the dirt concern trolling is better than others being passionate about a product on their feedback board?

WTF are you even doing here if you'd rather be touching grass?

I gave my feedback. I'm not speaking to GGG, they are clearly too corporate to engage directly with fans.

My hope is to help to build enough public sentiment in my own small way to enact positive change and to put pressure on them to find the fun over finding the $$$.

I know it's not much, never said it was. But my intentions are good.
