POE2 Account compromised / gear stolen

Playing on standalone client without any secondary login possibilities like Steam, Epic etc. None others are connected.
Whoever logged it somehow managed to bypass the restriction logging in from a new location. Have never received a code, mail or anything else. My mail adress also isnt compromised as I dont use it on this computer at all & it has a different password.


Only tool I am using is Exile Exchange 2... not saying this is in any form related.

Awaiting supports reply, let's see what the problem was...

Sad about the loss of all the time I spent on getting cool Poe2 gear but more scared of how they could log in in the first place.

Edit1: the account [Removed by Support] // CharName: [Removed by Support] is selling all the gear that was stolen

rip buddy, alot of us in a similar situation,

I've also asked support for how my account was accessed but got no answers just an account lock that's still on 5 days later,

oh and i also name called the guy that was selling my items, you're about to get your post removed for "causing harm to anothers' reputation"

In the end its just a bunch of pixels, but tbh it kinda destroys my will to play POE2 at the moment. All the time & effort sunk into it, just gone because we are missing appropriate options to secure our accounts.

My poe 2 account was compromised by an account ending in KyPoK as well (found my gear on tradesite sold by [Removed by Support]).

These guys are targeting a lot of people...

Trying to figure out how they did it in the first place - they must have a smart way to do it, since I never received an email with login code or anything...
Not using steam, pure standalone, no other connections.

Only new tool i used is Exile Exchange 2... not sure if this is related
tbh i got over the hack, because i just wanted to play with my friends but then ggg slammed me with a lockout for christmas....

wasnt using any tools at all btw, steam user with no indication of it being accessed

Just an update to this thread. I am afraid that we are not able to comment on any 3rd party tools. All we can suggest is not using any tools that may offer an in game advantage, interact with the game files directly or automate gameplay.

Please do not identify any offending accounts or characters on the forums as this does breach our Code of Conduct. Include any information you have in your email to us instead.
Seems to be happening a lot currently.
Weird. My Account is also still currently locked i got hacked and gear stolen day 3 or 4 not sure anymore. Weird thing is they didn't change password and E-Mail what's usually done by them.

Still on with support about recovering the account...
Alot people got hacked, im just bought new key to play also. Got hacked at dec19 support just lock account thats all. Hope they find solution and unlock us before xmas, but they wouldnt. Looks like support only lock accounts now, and dude who unlocking not working atm xd. No one said they got unlock since they locked. So...
