ascendancy in poe 2 WTF

i hated so much those leagues in POE 1, and now ascendancy is in those? WHY THE FUCK U DOING THIS

I’m in the same boat and have even posted about it here on the forum. In POE 1, I don’t even understand how Sanctum and Ultimatum made it into the core game. At least they’re optional, no one does them, no one likes them, and they were the worst leagues.

Now, in POE 2, they’re forcefully shoving these terrible mechanics onto players. It’s clear that some influential dev created them and pushed them into POE 2 to appease them. They had plenty of time to come up with an awesome, challenging, and fun trial, but unfortunately, it seems like they didn’t put much thought into it—they just copied these terrible leagues.

But there’s still time to improve and fix a lot. After all, we’re still in Beta.

yepp... no idea what was the point.. being hard and?? why there is no like labs like in poe1 make no sense to put old rly bad mechanics in poe2.. and they feel even worse in poe2

there is a difference between hard game and frustrating game.

the test of time here are the problems;

you got a timer that frankly moves quickly, you got time to work out a route to do those fucking time orbs, and as each of those you go through you get slower. wtf were you thinking? either slow down the clock hands move a little bit or tune the fuck down the slow for fuck sake.

im enjoying this game but this shit got to get fixed. atm im mostly playing the game like d2 just do the campaign trying making different characters.

it is just all about old shitty poe1 old shitty mechanics what ppl didint wanted even in poe1

Im starting a meele character in SSF, aside from 4th ascendency im sure it will be easy, because I actually learned how to run sanctum instead of just crying about. All I need to do i run it a couple times to get some relics, get my armor values high enough to get 10k+ honor base and really after that its going to be pretty easy.

IDK why people are expecting to just run it raw, not read afflictions, not get any boons use the merchant, go in with piss gear with no defenses so starting honor is trash, not bother with relics, and play like shit and cry.

btw for 1 divine or probably even less now, you can just straight up buy the 4th ascendency from a runner in trade league. All you do is stand afk for 1 minute while he kills the last boss, you don't even need to run it with him. People bought lab runs all the time in PoE1 even 5+ years after it came out, so people still couldn't hack it in lab either or just wanted to pay to expedite the process.

Farming 1 div isn't that hard. And you might as well compared to putting your account at risk to be banned.
