The burning monolith boss, dozen of hours of Atlas grind to die after 20 second fight

That would be a fine solution if we had a "standard" league where we all have 4500 divine orbs to blow. Otherwise its a pretty bad way to do it. Why wouldn't you just watch a video and save many hours of grinding currency. All the while ruining your first experience doing the boss.
Also skipping citadels until they return to 6 portals a map or fix it in some other way.
Yes, this is horrible and they knew it was horrible when they implemented it. I am sure they left it this way to gate how easily players could farm endgame content. It will assuredly be adjusted in the future (if they want a majority of players to to actually care about endgame).

Hundred+ maps to get one boss attempt, no learning curve and 1 shot mechanics to be sent back to farming citadels for dozens of hours again- they're straight up careless for doing that. Anti-customer, anti-fun, and out of their minds.

Figuring this out saved me from spending any more shop money on pages though- there's nothing else to do in endgame until this is resolved.

Dumbest solution i've seen. Pay exploiters and cheaters for frags to learn.
I suggest if you don't want to brick your time played to wait doing any pinnacle bosses. I'm willing to bet maps get fixed within the first couple weeks in January
Or just play shock sorc. Make every boss a statue
