[Merc] Flash Grenade Melter (Easy, Cheap, Fast Clear on T16+)

Thanks for the build! It's been quite good although I still die very often, aha. I think it's just skill issue. Have you implemented the latest updates to the maxroll page of the build?
ATM i'm experimenting with "Perfect Opportunity" (60% increased buildup from the cluster and also lucky hit against heavy stunned enemies). Since our weapon range is huge, "lucky hit" with it nets about ~40% more damage, same as with lightning damage builds. Also considering using impact shockwave as the last link, it increases the clear massively, and also it does damage to bosses on each heavy stun, which is building up really fast.

Other angle i'm considering is Voltaic Grenade. We keep our stun, just in the form of electrocute, with big enough damage it also provides 20% shock, we could weave in herald of thunder into the build. also with 5 points we can reach "Lightning Rod" which is permanent lucky hit with lightning damage, it's just as the same as "Perfect Opportunity" just without the requirement of mobs being stunned. We technically lose the blind from Flash Grenade, but since we dont have to break armour, we can use it as utility instead of Gas Grenade thus keep the blind. With this lightning route we could even scale the build with HoWA since we have int and dex anyways.

Impact shockwave sounds dope but does it work in projectiles? I know the attack keyword is there but I wonder if it’s a bug or something if it works.

I didnt check the keywords before, sadly it isnt working. For pure damage, sadly our only real last link is conc effect, it seems, tried all the other supports, but nothing comes close, Long Fuse is kinda servicable, but if i have to choose between the less aoe from conc and the fuse increase from Long Fuse, Conc Effect all the way.

Next step will probably be trying out the basic lightning setup if it's worth it, without any kind of lowering lightning resist on the enemies it may not, we'll see.
Your fuse duration is 1.06 and mine is 1.26 and I can’t get any shorter :)
how to reduce this figure? I play through armor but I want to go dodging
Been running this build and have it pretty much topped out on damage except replacing a 600 dps xbow eventually. IF you can afford it Temporalis actually lets you drop cooldown reduction in your 6 link and run payload instead, which is a massive damage/stun increase(I can kill the sekhma's last boss with only 1 hourglass phase now instead of 2). Evasion takes a big hit but I am going to find ways to recover it, leveling should fix some. I think even a crap rolled Temporalis works so if you can find one cheap give it a try.

Cant use Impact shockwave as a supp gem in Flash nade so doubt that works
This is my first ever POE 1 or 2 character, and I'm rolling with this build. Really nice so far and feels great for a newb. Super tanky. Still some upgrades to be had, but sitting at 2.8k hp, 1.1k ES, 80%+ evasion, 18% armor from Morior alone. Next big upgrade is a 5th support gem for Flash grenade.

Also, I just found my second Greater Jeweler's Orb and was wondering what you think the best skill to 4-link is (after flash)? Do I go gas for the extra armor breaking?

Yeah gas grenade would be the best next 5 link!

You could also try to use a vaal to corrupt to 6 link if you want, I think it's like 1 in 5 chance.
