Willow Map Layout (and other maps)

Hello!

As a preamble, great game and great set of changes in the past week and a half.

That being said, I just ran a Willow map with Delirium and it was a miserable experience. Every single tree in the map is considered void space with collision. You have an average of 4 to 5 trees within your screen at any one time and they keep blocking your pathing all around, let alone with packs of monsters rushing you.

PoE 2's map layouts while looking gorgeous, are so unpleasant to navigate, whether it be the substantial amount of void space created by rocks and trees or the very very narrow corridors and alleys that comprise a map. When you start adding Breach, Ritual and Delirium on top of it all, you can barely move, let alone move strategically.

The game has a wonderful potential and I hope we keep seeing the kind of improvements we've seen so far since launch.

Thanks!

I hate this map, I can't see shit. Can't see where I can walk, can't see mobs, can't see anything. Just now died there doing delirium. I could as well turn off my monitor at that point. Probably have my most deaths in that map. Followed by Augury with those imho very overtuned snakes that look like they do chaos dmg but actually don't.

Played this map like 5 minutes ago first time. Jesus christ

Yep, Willow is terrible, especially for ranged, because projectiles unpredictably hit terrain instead of the monster. And then there are sometimes things that look like hills, but surprise, you can't actually walk on them - they're a map obstruction and you can only tell by consulting the minimap.
What a terrible map. Has this even been playtested? You don't see shit cause of the fucking trees. You can't move, because there are invisible obstacles every second step. This map is bullshit!
I wish it was more like the rust king zone in act 1, that zone has the same tileset but larger trees which don't occlude the screen as much and bigger space between them. It's also gorgeous and easier to not get caught on random piles of rocks.
almost all the maps are terrible. we need more open layouts like sandspit.
