For those who experience the Error message during the updater:
Quick-Fix:
Go to the installation folder:
For me:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Grinding Gear Games\Path of Exile 2"

You'll see a PathOfExile.exe and a PathOfExile.tmp.
Just delete the PathOfExile.exe and rename PathOfExile.tmp as .exe

I hope that there is a fix for a bug that cause an error where i switch from crossbow to bow skill with lightning rod. Crashed everytime, got comical. Like a killswitch using lightning rod like that as mercenary.

Performance issues should be prioritized.

I have a 4090 and a 14700k, and just staying in a city over time causes the FPS to drop, eventually falling below 60, even below 40 (when, upon entering the city, my FPS are at 120, which is the cap I have enabled, with graphics set to default options, not even turned up, and also using DLSS in quality mode).

What seems to be a performance leak, probably something looping somewhere, eventually overloading the CPU.

Thanks for patching, but game crashes as it was on ryzen 5800x3d.
I would let it go and say ok sometime it will be fixed BUT when it causes problems with trials and dynamic events on maps this is bad.
