How often you use your mana flask?
|

" That is a very bad responce to the issue of someone not being able to fix mana problems - because mana problems are when you HAVE to constantly use flask. The solution is just get a few hundred more mana or a bunch more int then some increased mana regen - this can be achieved with just a little gear and some tree nodes. Goes from constantly using flask to constantly topped up. Or if you are doing physical damage leech just fixes it(though I really think leech should be on weapon damage instead of on physical damage, as phys works on spells) |

" ok let me clarify. This ain't a bad response. In POE2 about 90% of the players were not using any mana flask because there was so many way to make mana sustainable and infinite. Now in POE2 in this current build it,s 1 health and 1 mana flask. Which mean the game is built around making this 1 mana flask feel useful. Should we have instances in which we have low or completely depleted mana? yes, we have the tools to deal with it. I said that because, in the beginning as I started playing POE2 I wasn't using my flask enoughly and realized that I needed it, and properly upgraded. Now my build feel nice |

" It works until your flasks run out, then you're heavily reliant on mana regen. |

Its just as bad for attacks. You can take every form of cost reduction, but the second you get your APS up, you go oom so fast its not funny. And Inspiration + Cost reduction nodes only do so much to alleviate the problem.
Whoever decided that exponential cost scaling was the way to do it is an idiot. Oh and the best mana flasks are just woefully insufficient to keep up with mana usage too. And thats not even going into the fact that the best mana flask cant even refill half of your mana pool. Last edited by stolifiend#6790 on Dec 18, 2024, 1:14:48 AM

" the point isnt if im not able to manage using the skills the point is, a skill goes form 30% to 33% and the mana cost is 3x as much... doesnt seen reasonable |
|
" I've been tweaking my character, got curses, double offering, + spell + minions skills and I don't have mana problem. And this took me very little investment. What are you building exactly? do you have any sort of support skills to help yourself? |
|
" im not having mana problems i just wanted to say that the mana cost curve is not reasonable right now im not maxed, poe2 have many +lvl to skills and them can go as high as lvl40, so the cost will go off the charts for skills that would demand constant casting like zombies.. it will probably break the build (its not my build) i wanted to point it out only |

+1 to OP
I agree. Best mana pot I have restores 505 mana and I can use it 7 times. My main skill costs 351 mana -> and I have to keep casting or die My curse costs 509 mana I have 1162 mana pool I had to change out damage jewels for mana recoup/regen I had to use the only 4 ascendancy points I have so far for mana regen I had to use 18 points on my tree to get every mana regen node I could, which only gets me up to 283 mana/second It is obviously a common problem because the prices for usable gear with high mana/mana regen on the AH are through the roof. My focus HAS to be on mana, not damage, not survivability. And regardless of the reason...it doesn't feel balanced, and more importantly...it doesn't feel fun. |
