Bombarding Minions Witch Infernalist End Game Build Guide

Hello everyone!

I have made an End Game Guide for the Witch with the Infernalist Ascendancy that focuses on Arsonists minions and the detonate dead skill.

You can find the full guide here: https://maxroll.gg/poe2/build-guides/bombarding-minions-infernalist-build-guide

Video showcase: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=64aCfG9hxew

This guide is the continuation of my Minion army leveling guide: https://maxroll.gg/poe2/build-guides/minion-army-infernalist-leveling-guide

Note: A patch is coming that will change the cost of Arsonists to be the same as Skeletal Storm Mages.
This means around a 30% damage nerf (Loosing about 3 Arsonists in the end game version).
In the video I was using the Blink skill for 60 spirit to get better mobility.
But now with this nerf Blink will be removed to regain 2 Arsonists to mitigate most of the damage lost from the change. So this build will be fine after the patch.

Edit: Post patch testing using 3 skeletal snipers for improved single target damage.

Great thank you for this, I've been following the leveling guide for awhile.

I had a mid 70s sorc that got hit hard by the CoF nerf and started witch for this minion build loving it. Just seen the arsonist nerf coming soon and about had a panic attack. Will this be extremely noticable? I know you said about 30% but that seems like so much. I'm almost 80 on this minion char and tier 8s take awhile now, sitting at 340% minion damage, 11 arsonists. How many should I aim for? I hadn't ran blink yet.

Also, are the skill gems in the proper order of priorities? I'm only 3-4 linked in everything so trying to figure out what to focus on 4-5 linking first!

Thank you!

In the video I had 10 Arsonists and Blink, after the patch I will remove Blink which will let me reach 9 Arsonists so that would only be a 10% damage nerf so it is not that bad, It depends on your Spirit.

You can test how many you will have after the patch by removing all Arsonists and then add Mages for all your spirit.

Support gems should be in correct order yes, the most important one to get 5/6 link is Arsonists then Raging Spirits, Flammability and Skeletal Storm mages.

I am currently using Fae's passive tree with MoM and such. I started with yours.
Using your support gem setup. Your support gems make a TON more sense - much, much more logical.
In particular your skeletal warriors & hellhound links.
Nobody can talk me out of this. Nobody.
Kudos.

I have the unique belt and some random gear not necessarily fit to your tree or Fae's. So far. Not even done with cruel yet.

I don't see much difference between going ES or MoM. A slight lean towards the ES tree for survival. Again, I ain't geared for either yet. Just saying....for campaign lvl 66.

Glad you like it, I have also made a Mana stacking tree with different gear but mostly the same skill gem setup.

This passive tree is more optimized than Fae's.

How many times ES stacking build is more expensive than Mana stacking ?

Depends on the trade market and how many more play ES builds over mana builds.

That looks good. Thanks for sharing. I'll keep that open in a tab for comparison and combine both ideas imo.
