In the end, sure.
But if you are convinced of what you're working for, that you're doing great work and that people like what you're doing, that adds something more to their work than a paycheck at the end of the month.

This is the reason why some of us keeps believing in this game.
Plz Dev team, more of these builds.
Make PoE great again ^^
Overall I'm enjoying the EA for PoE 2. The skills so far have been interesting and look good. The environments and mobs look awesome. The campaign was more intriguing than the endgame but I think when the full game releases the endgame will be more interesting.

The only real "Feels Bad" moment I have while playing the game is losing the waystone (map) after just one death. That feels so bad. I really think they should bring back the 6 attempts before you lose the map. Or at least more than a single death before losing the map. It's super easy to die in this game, I turned my head to cough during a map and when I turned my head back 3 mobs ran up on me and I was being pummeled, died about half a second later. The game is challenging but I feel there should be at least some forgiveness when it comes to the maps. Logged in this morning wanting to play, played 2 maps, died on both of em before completing, lost both maps, experienced "this feels bad" and logged back out. Gonna play some Chess or Magic or something instead.

That's my only real piece of feedback. Please give us more attempts at a map than just one. Any other small nit-picky things I have to say aren't that big of a deal. But there is a clear "Feels Bad" moment built into the endgame and it's repeatable. I personally don't like that.

I have had fun playing the game overall though and it seems like it's going to be a great game upon completion.

PoE2 has a ton of problems. They need to fix a lot of stuff.

They are very slowly working towards it being a good game. It is not a good game currently.

I look forward to seeing where the game ends up in a month or two, but these small teeny tiny bandaid patches are not it.

Damn good game so far IMO, enjoying it more than I enjoy the forum PvP with people who aren't playing but instead are here demanding it be made into a POE1 mindless 1 button clone. No amount or cadence of patch notes are going to make some people happy. Maybe I'm realistic because I get that this is going to take years of measured and thoughtful changes and not months of quick fixes that address the loudest most entitled demands?

That said tons of people who get into game dev do so because they love games and thinking about how to design a game to be re-playable fun and unpredictable is actually a form of gameplay in and of itself, when it isn't you end up with shallow pap like D4, not games like POE2.

Most people at GGG I've ever heard (which it might surprise you is actually a lot of them, between podcasts, discord and also the Front Seat Gamer podcast run by GGG guys) are just gamers who are getting paid to do their dream jobs.

They are fellow gamers and regardless of my very significant criticisms I respect that.
Pandering to players who don't want consequences for their mistakes is a perfect description of what went fundamentally wrong with D3 and 4.
Its pointless to see positive. People dont accept the fun we have. Its a 2024 internet discourse. Im the apex your fun is not true...you have to believe what i feel bullshit.Im out of this now because its pointless and neverending.

Hahaha nice one!

Last time one of those "fellow gamers" played their own game, it went pretty well, but no.

They can't play their own game, fellow gamers kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

The last GGG employee I saw playing the game is a guy named Octavian who from a quick look at your character list has both more experience and has progressed further in the game in more of the games various modes than you have. A LOT MORE.

You seem to be extremely uninformed about this, at least know SOMETHING about the subject before you wade in with mocking sarcasm that makes you look silly. I literally cited a podcast run by GGG guys where you can listen to them talking about games and gaming for fucks sake.

But no instead of doing even the briefest due diligence finding out the things you don't know; you go into full self owning mode.

BTW Neon is a former racer with demigods. Hrishi was a player and forum poster and maker of a supporter unique before being hired. Multiple GGG employees have completed gauntlets and placed on ladders including Ruthless and SSFHC.

If you've not even heard of any of that, why are you even offering up an opinion my dude? Just trying to look as uninformed as possible?

skill issue.

Diablo 4 is free to play big guy
Step 1 is to self reflect.
Main story great, end game pretty boaring. The main focus fixes currently really need to be on the servers. The servers are so bad my hardware is well above game requirements and the game constantly pauses and un pauses itself, shutters, and then when bosses or things do spell attacks or explosion attacks the game pretty much hard freezes. I didn't have this issue until recently it's become almost unplayable do to it.
