Can we get some help for the people waiting on the support team, its been a week for me, and a month for others, additionally youre deleting comments on your youtube patch video, whenever anyone asks or clarifies, we were strategic and chose comments that we knew were going t o blow up, such as the low effort timestamp posts every attention w makes.

GGG is acting like bad guys, i hope theyre not, this is my first experience with this crap.

We've had 5 hotfixes and one set of patch notes in the past 7 days. To all those thinking that they're just hiding or sitting around not doing anything, try reading the patch notes thread and relax.

lol... yeah and my minions for a month lock me out of half the content. i could fix it for them in a second... maybe they should hire me.
very cool sounding update. hopefully improves the end game stuff. im like 90 and have not done any of the pinnacle bosses even on low tier. I like mapping but its very draining
thanks
It seems GGG didn't acquired as specialist in game theory.

"Death should mean something"

Don't add value to failure. Give value to success. Giving value bto failure by making success less achievable is wrong way to go. The main problem here - is janky implementation of combat and threats. Ofc, there is small part of people who would like it as optional mode, perhaps with better rewards. That same peope who pay hardcore or original Rogue, where everything is erased if you die. But it's a 1% of people, maximum. And honestly, not all of them right in their head beacuse of it.

We had alot of one shots in PoE1. We have even MORE one-shots in PoE2. Got a mob that can drop 6-10 orbital lasers with rate of fire of Ak47 - you died. Now there are 4 of them. Or 8. Plus another one which sends a one-shotting shockwave across of screen at same time. Have a 0.1 seconds dodge window to get away and you cannot use it - because when you saw it, it's already late - server latency went through the roof at same time. In PoE1 we had passive dfenses against it. In Poe2 we don't even have dodge to be a way to save ourselves, because mobs rush us and bodily push us back intodeath AoE. It's all random. No skill, no planning would defend against this. Pure luck. And there is always there that one person whch would say "I never had problem, good game". Because they never had, that's RNG.

THis is a dangerous concept psychology-wise. It would lead to burn outs. Actually minimal raward is always better than no reward at all. Time spend to grind compared tor reward in PoE2 is abysmal. The way PoE2 is, noone I know, me included, wouldn't play endgame at all. We value or time more. PoE1, a better aRPG - Diablo2, Baldur's Gate 3 in Honor Mode - all that is BETTER than PoE2 engame "fun".

It's slow, grinding slog, and if you died or not is completely random. You have to guess where boss would hald his one-shot AoE - with bright effects on-screen pale white marking of AoE is never visible. Or cannot be visible - how you see white on white? Some attacks track player and their AoE is larger than dodge distance. It's againthat 0.1 second window which cannot be matched because server latency is higher.

Not to mention that skill system as it is currently is really boring. And unoriginal - I saw this system before, in a few 2000 era games, only visualized differently. You gain some spell\ability through gameplay , by finishingtask or looting, allocate resource to it, or add mods. That's your skill gems and support gems now. There is near-zero interaction with gear and character stats, except some uniques early on. Origins like Magic Carpet or Overlord didn't had gear, so thats a fair copy-cat.

Story rewards should be rethinked. You reward 20hp, then remove 10% from all resistances. It's one small step forward and ten Leap Slams backward.

Honor shouldn't be a thing in ascendancy trial at all. In general it is buggy. Sanctum was buggy and these patch notes illustrate that the system STILL buggy. Some builds can do that, some not. This is shouldn'tthe case in acts. Ascendancy should be a tutorial to complex strategies - make mobs harder, but remove defense from chars. You're creating glass cannon meta again. Now it's a set of random encounters, some can be passed without firing a shot, some might be impossible for quite legitimate build, some are gear checks. Lab wasn't a gear check. It was player's adaptability check.
