[POE2] Map crash on breach, loot gone

Same issue for me as well, specific to breach.

happened 2 times so far, seems like too much shit from breach just crashes the instance itself (game just freezes indefinitely with "network" going infinitely up on graph while all the other stuff in norm)

Just wanted to bump and having same issues. all loot in inventory and waystone gone.

Some for me. It only happens during breaches.. once in every few attempts that i attempt.. All the loot, progress and waystone gone.

Most of the time it happens early on when you hit the breach and it starts to expand. Not every 1 has this issue so that makes me think its a client issue.
Just not sure what can cause it because the game runs fine except for this.

This has happened to me twice. Both in Spider Map. And lost all my loot. Both times T14 maps. Now I have to restart from T12 ...

Same here, just done a breach had loads of loot all over with a divine and game just froze... could not do anything even exit to character so had to close down the game, but I cant get back into the map to collect all of my loot so it is all lost.

Hi all,

I was having the same problem that y'all were. I did some testing and it seems like changing the NETWORK TYPE setting from Auto to Lockstep fixed the crashes for me.

To do so, go to C:\Users\XX\My Games\Path of Exile 2 and open the poe2_production_Config file.

Scroll down or Ctrl-F to [NETWORKING] and change Network Type from "auto" to "lockstep". Save the doc and boot up PoE 2. Should be good to go now.

There was a bug like this in PoE 1 too. It seems like the client has trouble resolving or gets stuck during high load when set to auto and freaks out/freezes.

Sidenote: Your game will be a lot more stutter-y during breaches and high juice content, so you might want to adjust your Graphical Settings to accommodate for that.
