Items currently offered in the PoE 2 shop not supported in this game version?

I purchased a Cordyceps Bow MTX for my Ranger in the PoE 2 shop. Went to equip it and it says "this microtransaction is not supported in this game version".
It would be nice if GGG only added items to the PoE 2 shop that would actually work in early access. Why add items for people to purchase if they're not supported currently? Last bumped on Dec 20, 2024, 12:14:06 AM

Anyone else running into this? Don’t want to buy more MTX if I can’t use em.

MTX have yet to be fully migrated over to PoE2. There may be a few that won't work in PoE2, such as if the item that they apply to does not exist (and vice versa with PoE 1).

I’ve yet to buy mtx in PoE2 so it’s surprising to me they’d sell something you can’t use in the new shop. I get they’ll bring things over slowly but given how limited this stores selection is compared to the first I figured what was here was tested and works. Hopefully they prioritize by what’s available if only to head off any future players buying things they can’t use.

got the same problem here to just bought nice armor set I play on Xbox series s and it says "THIS MICRO TRANSACTION IS NOT SUPPORTED IN THIS GAME VERSION." Then why sell on the shop if you can't use

Just learned it the hard way (or easy way and Im just dumb :) ). I have bunch of items from PoE1 with the same error not available in this game version - thats fine, I can wait.. I have couple I could use. no biggie. So.... decided to spent another 1000 points on MTX and apparently I cannot use them.. lol :| I guess I'd wait then.. Note to myself - try to be smarter :) If stuff is not available in PoE2 game shop, don't use their website to buy MTX instead. |

" When you say "POE2 Shop" do you mean the shop actually inside the game POE2? Or are you referring to the website shop? Because there is an actual POE2 shop that you access inside POE2, and I would be very surprised if there was an item in that shop that wasn't in POE2 yet. But if you purchased from the website shop, that's your issue. They'll migrate those items eventually, but it'll take time. I just took a look at the shop on the website and agreed things need to be made more clear. |

I bought the same cordyceps bow. I did buy it from in the game. But now I see it's not in the shop anymore. Must have slipped into the poe 2 shop when it wasn't supposed to.
