Eternal Knight mob seems overtuned
They are really not that hard to deal with as long as you're not relying on spamming the same projectile attack while sprinting throughout the entire map.
There are many long range spells/aoe attacks that do not trigger their reflect. Like the base spell on a voltaic staff: https://imgur.com/Rr2BdDc Another option is just stand right in their face, strafe the attack and blast them while their shield is down. I also like how it's generally assumed that armour is worthless, but in situations like this armour completely removes any threat from these knights projectiles. Necro posting because I agree and the people saying "YoU JUsT NeEd TO plAy ArouND iT" clearly haven't ran into them in juiced t15-16 where, by the time you can even see them in a pack of 25 mobs and 300 particle effects, you have already made the mistake of sending 500 projectiles their way and now receive 1000 flying skulls of butt-fuck for your transgression.
You could play around them if the other 30 monster on your screen weren't bum rushing you with ground damage effects and a myriad of other projectiles. They make a fun rare enemy to fight against when they are very visible, but the white and magic version that is relatively small blends in too well when you are blasting and they become an insta-gib blender if there are 2 or more. |

Tis Indeed the worst enemy in the game.

They aren't that bad. I play Spark Archmage and they're a nice change of pace now during mapping for me, especially the time I got two of them in rares (due to the Twin Threats passive) lol
When you run into them with minions or other trash, you just have to retreat a little and let your Spark do the work outside the screen for a bit. At that range their projectiles are quite easy to avoid. |

+1 OP
The Eternal Knight is somewhat overtuned. Especially in the narrow corridors and winding passages so prevalent in maps. And if there's more than 2 of them in a pack, those green things are all over the place and can't really dodge them. All it takes is one to stun you and you're stunlocked and dead in a few seconds after that. This mob needs rebalancing. EDIT. Got the name wrong. Eternal Knight. " The one with the tracking laser? Sun Priest something? |

" skill issue " For clarity, Death Knights aren't the projectile reflectors. Death Knights are the halberd-using undead that have largely telegraphed yet devestating slams (either a longer-range frontal cone or a 360 aoe). Last edited by LeFlesh#9979 on Feb 8, 2025, 7:01:35 AM

" OK so what is the one that chases you and spits green stuff at you all the time and looks like a Knight with a shield? Eternal Knight maybe? it's a Knight of some kind. |
