Ascension trials

I would suggest that you change your mindset. Basically, it's your job as an early access player to TEST the game and GIVE OBJECTIVE FEEDBACK!

So pull yourself together or play something else!

Nobody likes this. How is that not objective?
What the f, ggg. How can anybody not notice that a trial that costs you about an hour to complete is a bad idea? I just spend 30 minutes on the first two floors on sekhemas trial, while not loosing any honour and the third round is so damn riduculous that i do not believe that more than 0.1% of the playerbase will ever be able to complete it at any level.

The quicksand is just horrible and every mob can just pass through like there is nothing there. And while you have to fight your way through this slowing bs the mobs just keep spawning and spawning. It is in no way doable for me and i am facerolling the maps.

At the moment you could just leave out the first two floors of the trial entirely and people will still fail the third floor in 99% of the cases.

Please correct this wierd trial of yours. It is no good. I srsly feel physically ill from trying sekhemas third floor.

Btw... the rest of the game is really nice except for a few minor bugs. (Mobs running through frost walls/ levers in the waterways/ bugs while respecing points/ people having to turn of multithreading before loading new areas)
I finished my 4th one tonight. Have all my points. This is one of those cases where I don't want others to have to know my struggles.

The trial master has 9 million HP. I got him down he was actually the easiest part.

This is going to turn off alot of casual players. I no life it and I did it after much frustration.

I just don't understand why they thought this was a good idea for ascension, both have RNG that can ruin your run at no fault of your own. Not to mention you crash on a good ultimatum run you lose the entire run. And sanctum - unless you watch videos you are probably going to lose on the final boss.

Here's hoping these are placeholder; I personally hate that they were lazy and ported so much from poe1 over as poe2 content. They expect you to know how these mechanics work with zero explanation. its like they couldn't think of new ideas; but the reality is - that it shows poe2 was an expansion that they split to a new game because tencent wanted a new game.

What I can't stand in trials is that you can't overlevel it.
Every time I return, all monsters and bosses are even tougher than before, cause I leveled up. This is sht. No to mention that certain bosses have half screen unavoidable aoe oneshots, no matter how good your defences are.

Boy, this guy is SLOW^
100% Agree. The Honor system needs to go. The trials also take way to long to complete. Why do I have to go through this crap to just finish building my Character? It was stupid, but tolerated in PoE 1, but it's the most unfun thing in PoE along with the most controversial for good reason.

In PoE 2, it feels like the Devs went out of their way to make it a miserable pain in the ass to finish your character. None of it is fun. None of it is challenging - challenging means I can beat it with skill and tactics. Honor means you just lose with some builds, and random debuffs stacked to the ceiling means you lose no matter what. It's bad design.

Please take this out of the game.

Because there are players who enjoy Sekhemas like me. I don't have exact numbers but in my opinion people on this forum are NOT majority of PoE 2 players.
Despise sanctum, sedpise Sekhema.

Did first overleveled and with pain. Second one tried once, managed to get to second boss - two large guys - and they zerod my honor.
Dunno when gonna try it again but not soon i guess.

I actually agreed mith myself that my Ascendancy has only 4 points.
I'm not a big fan of the trials and especially hate ToC because literally everything is annoying about it, but some of you really blow things out of proportion.

The honor system is bad, I agree, but doing a 4-floor Sekhema trial takes less than an hour, so complaining about the length is pretty ridiculous considering how long you usually play a build. Also, collecting/buying relics to cap honor resistance and add some more defenses is really not hard/expensive and after that it's essentially a cakewalk unless you or your build really suck.

Sorry, but this is total BS. Both ToS and ToC "cookies" have a level on them and are capped at 80. The mobs are a bit harder than similar mobs in the campaign at the same level, but the difficulty is linked to the cookie level.

This is indeed my main gripe with the trials. Way too much RNG involved, although it's way worse in ToC, because in ToS you actually have lots of options to mitigate the bad stuff the game throws at you.

Ok, but that really only happens once and then you know. Also, you now don't even lose the run entirely if you fail the timer test, just a portion of your honor.
