Alas i agree in everything you saying want to hear the funniest thing ? i decided to give poe 2 a second chance after my 80 lvl poison bow mercenary build with 30 lvl on gem with max 3000dps and made a melee dual wield mace 2h
Bro there is no way to play this game at any pace 30 lvl monsters taking 0 damage with technique resolute at 2000 dps on normal attack and im not talking about magic or rare monsters im talking about normal ass slow monsters that tank the shit out of you whilst the fast ones do the most damage but they are 1 hit and in swarms.
Just disgusting game hope it fails and this company gets out of bussines even i myself as a hobbyist i play around with Unreal Engine in small project for learning how games are made can do better and make a dark souls top down game in way better graphics that are less heavy on gpu and with better mechanics they dumbed down everything cause they lack the the know how to in unreal engine.
I bet they started with UE 3-4 version and kept it so visuals feel like from 2005 and bugged like shit instead of moving assets to UE 5 with some improvement even a RTX 4070 has problem to run it above 50 fps at 1080p with eveything max the shadow thing that eats 40 fps are still there god poe1 has different engine and did the same thing just absurd ....

Bought POE2 on Steam.
Refunded 51 mins later.
I did not enjoy the start so I doubted I would enjoy it much more. I may try it again when it is free but no way am I giving GGG my money for this game in it's current condition.

I would add a complete lack of optimization

+1 agree it's kind of sad that you have to really try to find redeeming qualities that would justify even playing the game at this point only real improvements are the graphics, gemslot colors (rest of the gem systems is a downgrade), and maybe the boss fights (although they have their own issues also).

you forgot to give even 1 iota of reasoning for why you personally dislike the vague list you made.

Also there's some erroneous claims that don't make sense if you've played the game very much: combo's are a feature of only one class and that class has arguably the best 1 button "melee" adjacent leveling and endgame clear and 1 or sometimes 2 button (Bell) bossing.

I feel like you got your ass handed to you by the act 2 trial boss and then just came here listed anything you could think of as a part of the game (even when its really not) and called it terrible.

no wonder studios are afraid to innovate and spit out slop year on year. i always thought its just investors being risk averse but nope, its the players hating changes as well.

edit-that said i even have more respect for ggg to go against it and innovate regardless.
