Why POE2’s Direction Is Worrying for Veterans and Newcomers Alike

" You will return to face a new challenge which means you will immideately dive into it without much of the preparations so you either beat smth in one day and never get back or start dying from underleveling/undergearing and wont waste any time on this afterwards, cuz "why would I get back to grinding for days on a finished character when any gear upgrade will cost for more than 1574387532 mirrors". Stop lying to yourself. Its a bad approach for a game that gives too much of options to introduce em at the end of a gameplay and it will result in a shitty experience for a newer gamer base either. |

" Except that... nope. A little education for you : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mcd9BfVw7hQ (Path of Exile 2 Announcement) You can watch everything, or start specifically at 5:05 and get the facts straight. Also you can educate yourself with (Designing Path of Exile to Be Played Forever. Chris Wilson) : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pM_5S55jUzk Yes, one of the creators of GGG knows more than you do. " This statement kinda dangerous cause it actually applies back to you. Ive said every decision that a somewhat experienced player like me can thinke and any outcome that can be percieved while following such decisions. You are simply saying blabla im not listening you are wrong and denying it without any logical point from your side, which is not a good way to come to a conclusion in an arguement. |

Also another fact for that guy that believes there will be no leagues in PoE2.
Jonathan Rogers said there will be leagues in PoE2 same as in PoE1. https://youtu.be/4lB3TM5FrsY?t=5632 "A game IS supposed to waste your time but it's not supposed to make you FEEL like you're wasting your time:
It's supposed to make you WANT to waste your time." |

You are engaging with hypotheticals that suit only your narrative. You aren't earnestly providing a counterargument to the implementation of catchup mechanics. You claim players WILL experience X and IMMEDIATELY have to deal with Y. I'm not convinced.

" Yeah. That would certainly help. They really just need to come out and say what the long-term plan is here. What the worst case scenarios are, especially. Like, let's say, 90% of people love PoE 2, and only 10% play PoE 1, what kind of support and shelf-life can PoE 1 players expect? Or what if the opposite happens - 90% of people play PoE 2 for 2 or 3 leagues, and decide that actually, they hate it. What happens to PoE 2, then? Because the people, who are not in it for the long haul, don't care either way. But those, who are, really want to know. |

" Breach. There are some feedback about breaches that became introduced to the players at mapping. People have never seen them in the main campaign, so when they get swarmed by monsters - theyre not thinking about changing anything in their character, they come here to say that this is a bad game mechanic. And there is a reason - when you meet them at a campaign - you are punished for failing by walking back. At maps - youre punished by exp/waystones. And while in acts you can keep in mind that you need to deal with monster swarms and adapt your build accordingly, in maps you need to butcher an established character with much more costly item and skill changes. Im not saying that the unfinished campaign is bad, im just simply trying to prove my point. |

" Your reading comprehension is showing. I never made such a claim. My position on leagues is that POE2 will be better without them. |
