Buy it now trading

I have been trying to buy a Radiant Grief for days. nearly all the posts are fake scammers trying to bait people into posting their for cheap. all these people should be IP banned from the beta & the exploit patched by adding a buy it now option for gold. takes the item from their stash tab instantly & auctions cant be canceled for 1 min after confirming set price.

i am 10000000% done with how GGG thinks trading should work.

saying "thats the ways its always been" is the worst excuse to continue todo dumb shit. sometimes that phrase can get people killed on the job site. this is not poe1 we are not bound to continue todo dumb things. we also have the chance to test it out in EA to see if its something for poe2. if its good and people like it then why not readdress poe1's trade aswell in the future.

I'm completely with you BUT expecting a change from the same company that refused that exact change for more than 12 years is still strange. They always said that they think instant trade would kill the game, so why should their opinion be different for POE 2? I mean it's a general design philosophy for them.

If I’m understanding you correctly, your saying that an individual/group of players are listing an item at a lower price with no intention of selling in order to lower the perceived value of an item in early access so that they can take advantage and buy it at that price when subsequent players with little to no knowledge of the market value lists it at the same price?

If so, this doesn’t sound like a GGG problem. This sounds like a people problem. Some people are like this and there’s not a whole lot you can do about it. Getting mad at GGG is the wrong approach, perhaps the only way is to promote global change in human behavior through education and morals.

morals play no part when its a scam and money to be made in rmt. this type of behavior is making trading difficult, afk players make trade difficult. buy it now for an additional gold fee would prevent widespread use, make it 10k gold to buy it now for an item. doesnt need to be the solution to every trade. but if someone can snag your bait item with a buy it now order then that behavior would quickly stop.
