After killing map boss level 79 boss skill point is not received

Edit: Turns out I'm not bugged.

I believed I was stuck on 6/10, but turns out it was just that I had to use my points to increase the "Boss Difficulty" by using the respective nodes.

I just wanted to add my name to the list of people experiencing this issue.

I've killed bosses on Maps of level 79, 80, 81, 82.

This should have resulted in me getting 8 skill points, but I'm still only 6/10.


To folks that are 8/10 points on the Map Boss Skill Tree:
The game also mentions that 2 points will be rewarded upon completing the "Pinnacle of Flame" quest (the one about gathering fragments from 3 citadels). So I'm assuming this will be the only way to go to 10/10.

I have yet to find even 1 citadel, but that's a whole other issue on itself.

Just an update! I've got my "+2 skills for the Map Boss tree" Book, finally landing on 8/10 points.


Upon re-reading the description in-game, they say "Additional Points are earned by killing bosses at higher area levels and 'difficulties'".

My Map Boss Difficulty tree only had +2 Map boss difficulty nodes, so I respec my tree to have +3 to Map Boss Difficulty and then re-attempted a Lvl 82 map.

Lo and behold, I got my skill book drop after killing the boss!

So if you're stuck on 6/10 like I was, try going for 3x the "+1 Difficulty" nodes, and then try an Irradiated, Corrupted map with a Tier 16 waystone.

I am stuck at 8/10 even after killing the Pinnacle Boss multiple times. These 2 points are gone all difficulty levels are allocated and also I'm not speced into double corruption.

I have done all boss levels multiple times and no book dropped. No lingering Doryani quests as well. GGG please look into it.

Also stuck. got 4/10 points. Atlas says to kill +79 boss. Tried a t16 +1 level, no luck. Dont recall dropping a book earlier and then dying before i could pick it up, but most likely the case.

Stuck me too to 6/10. Tried second time to do in sequence 79-80-81-81 tier with no luck.
Pinnacle of flame not yet completed.

Tried to respect Atlas from +3 to +4 total boss map difficulties and run another corrupted + irradiated tier 16 map for a 82 level. No luck.

I don't know what to do.

If I have done wrong something, the game have no indication in what I miss.
