Poe2 PS5 account link

Im having the same issue. Sorry for this wall but I want to be clear on whats happened so I might receive the best possible advice from someone :)

I have a PSN PoE1 acc with about 3k hours played and lots of stash tabs.

I also have a PoE1 PC acc with only about 400 hours logged on steam (I have more, but played PoE1 beta before steam client was a PoE thing). Not 100% sure I ever linked PC steam to my old PC acc. Still need to login manually on PC PoE1 when I start via steam.

I bought the PoE2 beta on the PSN, started a witch, played to lvl-10 or so. Most of my tabs were available in PoE2, about 30 or so.

I saw that PoE2 will have crossplay and thought "oh thats nice, at least I will be able to play PoE2 on either device, I fancy playing it on my PC instead". I was logged in to my PoE1 PSN acc on the browser. Went to link accounts.

I clicked the confirmation email and it took me to a screen where it asked me to input a password and I wasnt sure which one it wanted as I was already logged in to the website on my PoE1 PSN acc, so I did a quick search and saw someone saying you lose all the stuff on the other account and I thought "oh, I dont want to lose my PC progress, I have a pre-nerf starforge and some other pre-nerf items on PC, Id at least like to give it away before I do this in case it overwrites with PSN acc" and closed the screen without entering a password.

Later on I want to play PoE2 with friends, log in to PSN PoE2 and realise all my tabs are gone, then realise my witch is gone. Huh. Oh well, one lvl 10 witch gone, no big deal. But kinda worried, I log in to my PoE1 on PSN and see everything is gone. Poop myself a bit. 3k hours and all my tabs and cosmetics gone!

Now Im very worried, wondering "did this just overwrite my PSN with the PC acc?!"

Log in to website and find... both accounts accessable from the website while logged in to my PoE1 PSN acc. Everythings there for both accounts but only via website. Slight sigh of relief, but now, when logging in to accounts:

PoE1 on PC switched to my PSN account has nothing on it.

PoE1 on PC on my PC account has my character list.

PoE1 on PSN has nothing, complete blank slate, no option to swich accounts either. Im afraid to create a character on PSN in case it overwrites my PSN acc.

Where do I go from here?
