" Serves you right for posting on Reddit. |

" got me there lol |

Those mods are wild. They're banning people for saying the most innocuous stuff. They banned me citing comments like "gamers can be pretty insufferable" when I was talking about how people leave angry kneejerk reviews day one of all big game releases. Not even something I said TO someone as an insult, just speaking generally, and that apparently breaks their harrassment and 'be kind' rule. They've got some kind of huge chip on their shoulder. They ban anything they think is remotely the tiniest bit inflammatory, but their bar for that is incredibly subjective.

" Yes, they are. Look, I'm no saint and I'm not going to pretend that I am one. I'm autistic and also have a slight temper, so I get triggered easily, though with therapy it has gotten a lot better over the years. That said, these are the 2 comments that got me perma-banned from the sub (thread was about someone complaining about getting in trouble at work after installing PoB on a work PC):

Make of that what you will. Like I said, I'm no saint, but I don't think those comments could be seen as malicious. They used comments out of context and picked old comments from like 6 months to over a year ago that got me put on a temp ban (I admit things got a little heated) to use that as justification for a perma-ban. Honestly, I don't mind. Been better off not being able to get into pointless reddit arguments. Gaming PC: Win 11, 7600X3D, RTX 4080, 32GB DDR5-6000 CL30, 7000 MB/s SSD, 850W, 3840x2160p 120Hz
Streaming PC: Win 11, i5-12400, RTX 4060, 32GB DDR5-6000 CL36, 7000 MB/s SSD, 450W, 1920x1080p 60Hz |

" I think some people, if able, will take something said and paraphrase it into something far removed from original intent. I poop, therefore I am.

" but why do we have to pay the price? |

I got banned for saying someone was "performing mental gymnastics" by saying EA is not an excuse for bricking builds and having a high cost for respec. Dude was trying to argue the game is in EA, so bricking was fine and being broke and couldn't respec just means you need to reroll.

I just had the same thing happen, and one of the comments they referred to was from so long ago I couldn't even find a reference to it on my own account.
One of the comments I got banned for was referring to Jonathan's attitude towards POE1 saying it "reeked of hubris". I realize reddit is a joke, but this is getting ridiculous. These forums are a mess, the steam forums are a mess, and reddit is a mess. Where can we have normal conversations about any of this stuff? Edit: They didn't even remove the comment they banned me for. It's still there. General discussion gaming forums are almost always a cesspit of ignorance and trolls.
