Changing Character Name in POE2

Would really appreciate help with changing my character name, have emailed support@grindinggear.com but have not heard back. Would greatly appreciate if any staff or GM could help me out, thank you.

" So I was asking help from potential GMs who are online on POE2, if they could assist with a name change. Then afterwards, I was muted with the prompt that suggested I would shortly be forced out of the game and made to change the character name at the character selection page. Up until now there has been nothing happening, no force quit, no option to change character name at login... I am so confused and would really appreciate any assistance to change my character name. We're currently working through a large number of tickets as quickly as we can. Players are able to change the names of their own characters by navigating to their Path of Exile account, and selecting from the list of options on the right under their account name "Rename Character". This will bring you to the character rename page where you may select a character whose name you wish to expire in order to choose a new name, or to swap names with another character you have already created. Please choose a name wisely, as names that are found to breach our Code of Conduct may result in the player's account receiving moderation. I hope this helps! | |
" Under the rename section of the website, it currently does recognise any POE2 characters that we created. Please advise if there's any other alternative method we could opt for, or if any staff could help by manually changing my character names on their side? At this point it doesnt matter what my character name is changed to, I just need it changed so I can access global chat. Thank you. |

Same situation here as above. Character section of the website only supports PoE1 characters (although there's a drop-down menu for PoE1 specifically), I emailed support two days ago about a changing my PoE2 character name and haven't heard back.
Could we get an acknowledgement if PoE2 character name changing is coming in the future? |

have also tried to change character name and i can only see my PoE 1 character, does not show my PoE 2 character. hoping this gets addressed.
