Nerf is Understandable, but Free Respec is a Must to Keep Players Engaged

I think if GGG will not act swiftly and reduce respec cost to 1g per point; ppl will leave and numbers of players will drop drastically.
I have been incredibly frugal with my gold and I do not have enough to do a full respec.

What am I supposed to do now? Farm for gold with a build that doesn't work and watch my respec costs go up even more as I level up?

Nah it wasn't a nerf. It is a game mechanic removal. Not really upset about having to do an expensive re-spec. But having a 95% reduction is not a normal way of dealing with an overpowered skill gem.

You are the type that I’m glad is inconvenienced . “It wasn’t a nerf” loser. I said they adjusted an overpowered skill. How they did that is irrelevant ya twit. I hope they screw with your builds until you quit. Don’t ever correct me when I’m right ya basement dweller.

But isn't the point of EA to prepare the game for release? I usually prefer when respecs aren't free in RPGs, because it gives some weight to spec choices and also prevents respecing at any time to morph your character to each encounter instead of playing and making your build for everything you want your character to be able to do.

And I absolutely hate when games force me to quit them because I can’t afford the time or cash commitment in order to make a minuscule change. There is absolutely no incentives for me, who loves trying new skills/weapons and classes just to be shoved against a wall and shaken off all my gold that I could have better invested into gear.

I swear, free respecs should seriously be considered as adhd accessibility option.
