Going to experiment with a pure DPS variant with 7.2k mana and no ES. Suspect it will be better for boss killing but worse for mapping, particularly because it's nearly impossible to fit much IIR onto the gear if going for 7k+ mana.

My shock focused variant feels super safe to map on; my only deaths going 96-97 were entirely my fault. Only content I tried that it couldn't do was Simulacrum - didn't have enough DPS/cast speed to make it all the way. Also I suck.

What do you use for your second charm with Hunter's Talisman anoint?

I use stone charm by default. I took it off once and immediately got stunned to death by the first pack of white mobs in a map. It stays on forever now.

I have now done t4 breach and ritual with my cold/shock variant of this build. Most of my damage comes from archmage now with shock support and exposure, but cold helps a ton with maps and bosses because of freeze. I am able to burst down pinnacles within the freeze window with ease. most normal mobs never touch me cause of freeze as well. Still have yet to do more than t0 simulacrum though. That content is just so overtuned i don't really know how to solve it.

That's awesome! When you say the cold/shock variant, do you mean with blueflame bracers to convert fireball to cold still? (And archmage for shock ofc).

I'd go back and dig through to find your last maxroll but I'm feeling lazy, haha.

I would love to see your maxroll if you make one! I'm always looking at other people's maxrolls/mobalytics and fussing with my skill tree.

Got half-convinced to try Hunter's Talisman just now so I could run a freeze charm and a stun charm, but before I actually changed the anoint I told myself, things are working great, don't mess with it....
