Cast on freez: Why nerf good builds that people enjoy playing?

GGG please do not nerf good builds, make other builds even better so people can have multiple options.

I tried to make a build with Cast on sock and Cast on Ignite both unplayable and now the patch comes and are all 3 unplayable, why?

Why is this a target to make the game un-enjoyable ??

I'd settle for "don't nerf builds into the ground"

Yeah I would settle for that as well. Its one thing to nerf..its another to destroy into utter oblivion with a nuclear missle your build so that it is unplayable and not only is the build broken but gold costs are so high I can’t respec because I would have to change a ton of nodes now. Not sure what you guys are doing at this point but I’m starting to get incredibly disappointed by your vision and lack of awareness.

They want to make all classes more or less competitive . It is impossible to have melee be competitive if you can have a build like the one they targeted there.

I do nto agree on the form and weight of the nerf. but hte reason I agree, it makes people playing other classes feel dumb.

Balance. The answer to your question is balance.

It makes zero sense to give EVERYTHING else giant damage multipliers just to get to the level of an outlying skill or combo. You'd have to not only spend a huge amount of time with every skill, but also re-balance the entire game.

Seriously, it's killing my will to play POE2 cause they keep nerfing every build I want to try out of existence.

But this is exactly what is not, "balance". I am not talking about big damage multiplayer, the skill should proc other skills to cast, and it is no longer doing that. they could put some spirit cost for extra skill in slot, they could lower the dmg to half, instead they make it so is no longer doing what it suppose to do.
