PS5 Game Performance is just awful and unplayable

I'm on PS5 Pro. Just got started. Outside of town, the game runs well, but it's a slideshow in the first town. And there's only maybe 10 other players present. Not really a lot going on, people accessing their stash, selling things, etc.

Please fix performance on PS5 and PS5 Pro. Extremely disappointing.

I have a regular ps5, I don't have these slowdowns you are mentioning

I play with friends online and my game doesn't stutter, if it does it's only for a second..

when I do remote play on my phone there are moments where there is a lot of screen tearing and stutters like mad, but I attribute that to the stream.

PS5 here...started frost bolt character on launch...and now I am running a new Spark build character. Frost bolt was not great in terms of FPS either but Spark is nearly unplayable. And it feels way worse especially after latest patch.

I know everyone is comparing POE2 with D4 and vice versa these days, which I don't like and in many other aspects of the game the comparison is unwarranted/unfair. But I can't help but notice way worse performance on console for POE2 compared to D4 which is very sad because the game is great...If we could at least get constant 60 FPS it would be a huge improvement. Please GGG

I've been playing since day one, and 99% solo since pairing up with my buddy's just wont make it on my PS5, i had FPS drop under 20. I'm a SW spark and when i do maps (wich is stopped due to fps drop) and come to a rare as soon as they die my FPS drops from 30/60 to below 20 and 9 out of 10 i die because of the screen lag and i cannot see what is happing on the ground e.g. explosions etc. I have tried so many setting and only thing for me works if i go uber low on graphics, i mean like D2 style low. I hope there is going to be a good perfomace fix soon, i love this game and after 1000+ hours on D4 i wanna stick to this game and dont fall back.

PS5 Pro here but playing breaches and stuff is a nightmare. Have to take a break until a fix

Big patch came. Nothing has changed in terms of performance. It's just we have an unoptimized game with a loot filter now.

It's actually worse than before for me. Ps5 pro. Lowest graphics settings, no upscaling.

It was dropping to like 5fps and kept pausing my game it was so bad.

I did run two maps atm and honestly i feel like game is a bit smoother. Not sure if there were some changes performance-wise so i am wondering whether nsinks semi-strict dark loot lifter is that much lighter for the game. Will try more later, aiming for heavier(grapphically) layouts. Ultra performance FSR on base PS5 here.

wake me up when you decided to make it work atleas on 60 frames...20frames in 2025 is ridiculous
