Deactivated e-mail account

My existing e-mail account, which is linked to PoE profile is no longer accessible (due to inactivity) and I cannot receive any messages sent there. I've tried to contact GGG tech support via email (from new account that i want to use) to ask about resolving this situation, but got no response for several days.

Is it possible to change email address if the existing account is no longer accessible?

Yes, apparently issues like these are very low priority at the moment due to the PoE2 EA launch (and probably also because our accounts don't have suppporter badges)...

if it makes you feel any better, my main account does have several supporter badges and I am still waiting on a response from support for over 2 weeks.

No, it doesn't make me feel better at all. It's actually terrible news. I was assuming that this lack of response was because of EA launch or maybe because supporters have higher priority when it comes to resolving technical issues. But if you have been waiting for over 2 weeks it means that it's not about the EA launch, but is rather something else. Multiple people have posted about having the same email issue here and not a single reply from GGG so far.

It might just be that if you lose access to your email, because your router is reset or your IP changes, GGG locks your account. And since you can't access the verification code from your email the PoE account is lost forever and GGG won't help you with this. I hope i'm wrong about it...

I have an almost identical situation, practically a mirror one.

I also discovered that my email was no longer accessible (due to inactivity), and I also wrote to support@grindinggear.com but did not receive a response.
