Sorc nerfs - Any answear from GGG team ?

Hi,

I'm playing an elemental build, and it's not just cast on freeze.
Cast on shock and cast on ignite have been nerfed.

At this state, those 3 spirit gems are not usable anymore.

A rebalancing is necessary.

Even if you added energy % qith quality of the gem, it just does not work at the moment.

Even if mana cost will be free, it will be useless, I'll not event care about 1 free comet / min(s)

I'm sure you will do the necessary, and find the right balance.

Cast on X is fked royally.

i got the dev's point. And it was obvious from start those cast on ailments are too easy to pull off. Literally no build required for it.
I think the devs point is that these "cast on X"-skills should contribute lets say 20% of your builds damage - they are just an added bonus and not the main part of what you are doing.
It's just terrible that you have to destroy a class/build like that. Yes, I know it's all an EA, but it's absolutely not well thought out.

I just got online and wanted to run a map but didn't even get close to getting through the first packs of monsters. Please GGG reverse this change, you are not helping anyone. Even before the patch it wasn't always easy to play with COF, sure it was strong but still challenging.

I expect an immediate change to yesterday's status.
It doesnt make any sense. Were just in early access, a lot of hype new players. We dont have many strong builds and here is one that people enjoy to play.

Then they nerf it and kill the fun for so many players. They dont even bother giving a respec token but in all fairness it wouldnt have solved the problem killing a fun build.

If this is the path of the devs I believe this game will lose a lot of its players in no time. Would be sad since it really has potential and has drawn many new players.

We need more strong and fun builds not less. Devs, redo do right!
I doubt you will see anything... instead of just toning builds down, they love to say a big FU to the players playing it, so they are forced to either 1) quit, or 2) start a new char.

currently starting over from act 3 cruel on sorc to a ranger act 1 due to this crap and now I'm gonna make a ranger dead eye build to be ruined next? I got patience for one more character to dump 70+ hours into to before it's ruined. I thought beta was more for finding builds that are broken. If GGG nerfs every build soon it's just going to be a sluggishly long seasonal league with these long acts.

Funny thing is I seen multiple builds that are way stronger 3 shotting bosses yet our build that struggles against bosses was deleted. I truly don't get what they want this game to be? A auto attack simulator that full of punishment?

I feel bad for the many that paid for early access. You all paid to be beta testers. Literally. I think they just launched the game to appease the masses after all the delays they already had. It's apparent it's unfinished, unrefined.

Granted, the game seems to be playable for most, but balancing amongst fixing all the major bugs etc., will likely take six months. If not longer. Weigh the fact that people paid for early access, it is kind of a shit show from what i'm reading.

In other companies eyes, an early access is just a few days before initial launch date. For example, blizz released D4, but those who paid more got a few days of early access. Other companies do that. With GGG, it's literally SIX MONTHS. That should tell you... YOU PAID TO BETA TEST FOR THEM.

Support for them, I do generally agree on. In this case, I think they took a very illogical route. I support them, and have in the past. Bought a larger supporter packs, amongst other things for the guild I have purchased, along with my friends. I cannot support paying to be a beta tester. It should be the other way around, those who paid for early access should be given something for aiding in their development cause. Face it. It's a beta (at best).

And I'm only viewing this on the outset. I thought the early access was only going to be for a few days before they officially released. Then I learned it's six months down the road before that even happens. What the hell?!

After few testing :
Its seems pretty balanced, adjustment made just rebalanced Comet abuse with it.
Comet is still usuable, linked with impetus support Gem + max quality on cast on freeze Spirit gems.

This force me to test other settings with cast on freeze, and having orb of storm autocast was really a game changer.

So compared to my first impression, changed made was pretty balance.
Linked Energy get by Skill gem cast time is working.

Those changed foes to build diversity, and make abusive build more or less not usable.

This is the way !
