Review bomb time?

Have completely re-written this to make this more meaningful to the [Removed by Support] and [Removed by Support].

So is it time to review bomb? I say yes and here is why.

Pros for review poorly.

Accountability.
As we have no financial recourse to refund the only way to show actionable displeasure is via bad reviews. And if there are enough bad reviews it will force change. Or it doesnt and POE2 just gets meme'd like Diablo 4. For you [Removed by Support] out there, being "EA" isnt some free excuse for we can release a bad product or do nonsense and its 100% okay because we called "EA". Like what is this elementry school logic? NOT IT kinda nonsense so stop it.

Long term Health.
Sometimes when we are sick we have to take medicine that we dont like for our own good. The fact is the game is out and first impression mean everything. If the game is review bombed it hopefully keeps new folks away. If they stay away during the clown show choices being made now, than later if they get it together those folks can join later for a positive experience. Versus hype the game act like everything is fine have the folks buy now and quit forever in a week.

Cons:
The [Removed by Support] hate when we say mean things about POE....

And before I get some [Removed by Support] crying about how do I know they will just quit here is a stat for you. POE is a niche market as it does NOT cater to care bears its meant to be hard. POE1 has been out for 11 years now and if you look at steam only 50.7% of the player base killed Brutus you know the first "boss" you fight in POE1. And POE2 is harder so lets not support nonsense thats avoidable and give the new folks another reason to quit even faster. We should be making it appeal to as many gamers as we can (within reason) ie not saying make the game easy just dont add undue nonsense like bad "balances" to run em off.

Yea. I get your frustration. I was super triggered with Essence Drain and Contagion being complete ass so I suffered until T1 Maps broke me. Now im playing Hexblast and Im having fun again.

Honestly, this game shouldnt even be out in Early Access. Its not even close to complete. Only Act 1 is incredibly good.

Review bombing is very effeminate behavior. Especially over something like this.

My build got bricked. I'm annoyed, but that doesn't mean I'm going to try to harm GGGs reputation or business and then continue playing the game.

I boycotted D3 after launch. Never played a Blizzard game again. If you're that mad just quit and don't give them money anymore.

Eh thats your opinion and thats fine. POE at times was great and have shown my commitment since the beginging of POE1 as evidence by my banners. But accountability has to be a thing too. They made people pay for this expecting work to be done on finishing the game not trashing it within a week. If there were a bunch of other viable Witch/Sorc builds id say this is BS move and and respec but that really isnt the case with how little the game is actually here at the moment.

Having tantrums over video games is something I punish my young son for. It's incredibly childish.

Yeah whatever I am salty and super annoyed. But erradicating CoX was totaly uncalled for. maybe the devs should I dunno.... Focus on working on the game? Heck years and years ago we were promised that POE1 MTX would work in POE2 and even delayed the game again for that. 95%+ didnt. Sure I know it WILL come but you gave us a game super late thats maybe 1/3rd completed so far to instead focus on trashing builds already?

So is it time to start review bombing to protect the general public of this nonsense till they get their act together? I know I did....

You bought and have been warned that this was EA and yet you complain and even asking for a review bomb? I'm speechless.
Review Bomb, no, grow up.

It's early Access... did anyone really expect that their uber build speed run would survive past the first few patches?

Apparently they did, Steam as well.

What everyone should have is multiple level 30 characters to try them all out.
All you idiots defending them cause of the "early access" title. Yall need to stop this nonsense. This is NOT a beta! Beta is invitational and free. So sure if its a beta go ahead do whatever you want.

But reality is there are hundreds of thousands of new eyeballs on this super hyped game and EVERYONE PAID REAL MONEY. So it is not unreasonable to expect that when you pay money for something, that you expect value in return.

So with that in mind, while changes are necessary and expected, there needs to be some understanding that people paid money, and the manner in which those changes are implemented matter. First impressions are also important.

That's like going to a dealership and paying for a brand new car and the owner tells you its unstable and will break down, but don't worry we will keep fixing the problems.

You don't buy a title with a guarantee of success either.

If OP has one build less than a week into the release it's unthinkable that if it's overpowered that it won't get nerfed.

You are getting value, you get many hours of well designed gameplay, you are not guaranteed success or fun for that matter, OP might be playing like a total muppet.

Once again, if you didn't think there would be MAJOR changes this early on then you're not thinking straight.

Its not about major changes, we all expected it. But theres a difference between nerfing the DAMAGE output a if you think something is OP, vs deleting the entire gem and archetype around it. Majority of the complaints on the patch notes are not about the change, its about how much fun the PLAYSTYLE was. Super satisfying game play and CLASSIC mage arpg gaming experience. And they chose to completely delete it from the game rather then fine tune its output.

Thats a big shit on your doorstep.

Instead of taking a few days to figure out a way tune the output, they chose to hastily make a breaking change that deleted the entire spec like 5 days in. Thats the issue here.
