Been playing since Open Beta PoE. This is the first time Ive ever considered quitting the game and leaving this in the past.
To completely nerf multiple skills into the ground without any kind of testing prior to pushing the patch live and letting the playerbase be the test subjects is the GGG way. In the past we were given full passive respecs when something this devastating happened to the passive tree.
Why not give the players the ability to respec since you know exactly how many players were using a trigger setup?
When is Bloodmage getting fixed? It was really bad before but with these changes it is completely bricked for spell builds.
I agree that 'Cast on X' needed to be reworked, but I definitely agree with everyone complaining. It's literally useless now, and my other skills do next to no damage themselves. So I can hardly kill trash mobs. I feel like you guys definitely need to go back to the drawing board on this change.

It completely broke the cast on freeze skill. You should have just deleted the skill. What a stupid patch.
I dont see the point of nerfing trigger builds this hard. Its not nerfed. Its totally unusable now. Way too excessive. It makes me not want to play if; whenever I find something strong and fun, it'll be unusable in a few days. Also its still to expensive to respec. So even if I wanted to switch builds, I can't. The only solution is to create an entirely new character and play the whole game again.

This is a mess. Back to grim dawn for me until this settles.

Welp I'm glad I didn't fully transition to cast on shock yet. Judging from other replies, as expected, the nerf was too big
