0.1.0d Patch Notes

To the people who are essentially "whining" about the "whiners" here.
If you are a functioning adult with a life, work, wife and even kids. Free Time to spend on a game as an entirely different value.

GGG wanted my Cash for EA? Sure. I mean POE 1 was and still is good. I had a blast playing it and spending my time.

Now with this EA of POE2 I decided on a build which would have been a good starting point to get to endgame, farm for a bit and only then, try something new with some resources already gathered.
So I did not shy away of spending my resources early for improving the build i was currently grinding slowly, crawling through the first 2 acts, with the overly difficult act 2 boss. And reaching act 3 felt like quite the accomplishment and the reward was a fun mechanic that i could use to make my way to the endgame, again slowly.

I spent 35 hours on that, not because I am just slow, but because thats the time i could invest in that short amount of time.
Now with this nerf, I have nothing of consequence that will incentivise me to spend another 30+ hours doing that again with another build anytime soon.
Again, no respec, no gold and no means to actually farm anything because the damage is down by 95%.

In short, players arent mad that there are balance changes, players are mad because they werent even able to get to the endgame yet before their builds where nerfed to oblivion without warning.
Thus, not respecting the investment in time players made thus far and early on. Again, with no real balance to give people an opportunity to try something else without having wasted their time.
Nerfs are aceptables, broke the play style of the buiold NOT. is a disrespect with us nerf and dont give TO us a possibility to respec THE char. Was doing maps t6-t8. Now is painfull finish a t5 becouse take 30 min.... dont have gold to test another builds.

And if is not enought some times i doed 3 maps and dont got a single waystone...

THIS IS A EARLY ACESS not the finish game. so if you go do a hard chance anouce 2 3 days before... Imagine play 30 hours to finish a build and when you are ready to blast the build is gone... you dont have more gold to respec and currency to change itens to another build.

We know thats game must be balance BUT do this with some awareness and respect for the players!

Thanks
Just days into EA release and already they're heavily nerfing every single fun build into the ground, before they've even released new content. Absolutely no regard for the community feedback, none.

It's time to start a chargeback.
Worst patch so far. CBA even anymore, wanna see the world burn. Nerf the rest 90% too please.
Today's patches are not like the previous ones, which were merely adjustments to damage numbers. This time, the COC BD and games are completely unplayable, and dozens of hours of progress have been rendered meaningless. Such drastic changes, without giving players enough time or advance notice to adjust, and without providing any post-nerf remedies, are highly frustrating. Coupled with the latest patch note's "we missed one," it feels almost like a joke.

The biggest issue here is that it makes players realize their builds can be nerfed to this extent at any time, leaving them with no sense of security. A player might finally settle on a strong build and start accumulating resources, only to have it completely destroyed without warning. This significantly dampens enthusiasm for the game. In my opinion, even in Early Access, this is not an acceptable justification. It truly feels like the developers are not treating players with respect.

If these changes are not reverted, I won't log in again. I'd rather go back to playing Diablo IV.
Thank you very much - 90 hours of game time to actually be able to play more or less the endgame and now this patch?

My CoF build hasn't even come close to “destroying everything” as is suggested here, I'm squishy as f and have barely managed the maps on T8, T9 and now, thanks to the patch, I'm doing NO damage at all.

Thanks a lot, I loved and adored the game up to this point, but now I'm just disappointed because this isn't about a “nerf”, it's about the whole mechanic of CoF being destroyed.

Thank you very much.
A very interesting policy of "experimenting" with builds, when you are not allowed to experiment. You do not make balancing changes, but kill the time and effort of players who spent dozens of hours leveling up a character, making them unplayable. You can use the excuse of early access, in which case reduce the cost of resetting passive skill points. Half of the mechanics do not give a specific idea of how they affect the final damage of the character, since this is not described anywhere. And instead of spending gold on leveling up my character through interaction with merchants, I am forced to save up these small crumbs to reset skills at 5 thousand per 1 point in the skill tree. And after I spent 50 hours of my time learning the mechanics and fighting style for myself solely due to my gaming experience, you completely kill my build without any compensation and the ability to reset the points spent to a full reset of the tree. In the end, it all comes down to the fact that you force me to play by your rules, and not the way I want. Where is the guarantee that tomorrow I will start playing a new subclass and you will not kill it the same way?
CoF is basically dead. I think it was nerfed too much. The investment to get it work was quite high. You had to invest in spirit, have enough mana, freez the target and if you didn't 1 shot it then you had to wait for some time untill you freez again... meanwhile there are some other builds that just shot 2 arrows and everything is dead

I dont understand whats going on. As far as I understand, the only thing that can satisfy GGG is autoattack damage, nothing should deal damage. Even though the game is already as slow as possible. How is this different from d4?
Nice! Can we get loot filter enable on console so all loot isint gray tyy
