Please stop calling players struggling unskilled, it is condescending and unhelpful
" I did not see almost anyone calling struggling players unskilled. What I have seen is people calling them sttuborn on trying to brute force as if this was POE1. That is very different. |

There seems to be a missunderstanding, not sure if actually voluntary or accidental. The problem peopke complain about is not about how hard is to learn the game, but how impossible is for people without kwyboard skills and coordination to play a game of "dodgeroll at the right time in the precise direction or you die".
I always played Diablo2 and POE and Grim Dawn and Torchlight and basicly any game WITH MOUSE ONLY. even had to click tge potions with the mouse cursor because i could never press a key without looking at the keyboard to see where it is. So POE2 is made in a way i simply cannot play. To add insult to injury, i do not play a character that died. Feels like scumsaving. Think about it, you are an exile, a commoner of the loeest birth and sociak status. When you go kill undead, animated constructs. Demons. Angels and GODS... THEY STAY DEAD, no boss is running bsck from spawn spot. But you, you die again and again and just wake up fullbodied, healthy, all equipment on, AND in a safe area. How did that happen? Makes no roleplsying sense. About asking to make the game easier, i don't think people think necessarily of nerfing the bosses. They ask for tools to become stronger to be on par with the enemy, not dance the dodgeroll tango for 10 minutes. And maybe, get some damage mitigation available so you don't get one-shot. A great player who doesn't want to invest in defense can just use those points in more damage or whatever, but a less skilled keyboard user can give up some dps and clear speed to gain some survivability. How would this ruin your game? It does not affect your playstyle, it does not weaken the mobs or bosses. Being against this much only shows some ayers are not wanted. Lime they would taint your game if they are able to play without becoming gaming gods. |
