Not sure why people complaining on difficulty ?

I mean I literally just soloed the bone mammoth and necro and it’s literally the same
movement pattern every fight I have done thus far. You stay on the exterior perimeter during big cast chains and clockwise and or counterclockwise circle(depends on if boss is left or right of you on screen). Then after the big cast chains you go in and get a few hits in(if your melee) or necro(like me) reapply dots and then back out to the exterior permitter rinse and repeat. This is standard Dark Souls one and two logic before they changed their algorithm to a more heavy duty based ai machine learning version. So stop crying and get good and go practice what I just said. Watch bosses wondrously fall. Also you do need to upgrade your gear and skills along the way. That’s what i assumed was common sense however I’m guessing not. I’m not some gigachad level either, I’m level 25.

Signed a necro telling you to get good and stop blaming ggg for your lack of skill. Before someone sends me some nonsense about ok playing a meta class, I have a ranger as well and this strat works as well. Also
Works on warrior( just takes much longer)

As a Souls-like games player, the same strategy works, circle around the butt of the boss and dodge when they do a different animation, works every time lol.

Jokes aside i didnt find the game so hard, reminds me of poe1 beta, which was 3 times harder actually.

Not sure, I enjoy it. The lack of feeling of progression and loot is bad though, but they've slightly buffed it. I'd rather feel like I progress more in early game and the bosses be even harder than killing a supercool boss and not progress at all. Still logging in though

wdym, it's a game where a players stats could be really good, and they found an incredibly good weapon on an attack build, or their stats and damage could suck.

not to mention that inadequate damage per mana is a soft failure state, unless the player is satisfied auto attacking bosses or w/e to death.
Did you just come here to flex?

Strange post.
You're coming here to brag about beating easy bosses at lvl 25.. wow.

IMPRESSIVE! /sarcasm

Good 1 dweeb

The vast majority isn't complaining because of the difficulty. They complain because everything feels slow like walking through tar and the fights aren't fun. There is no difficulty in the game, everyone can dodge, hit, dodge, hit, dodge, hit......

The most difficult thing in POE2 is actually staying awake while you play through the incredibly tedious and boring campaign.

Maybe I'll check back in a year or so to see if GGG has figured out that having your players fall asleep at the keyboard is not a great design paradigm.
100% correct OP. The biggest one is to make sure you're leveling your skill gems and not spending every uncut you find on a new skill to try it out. I saw plenty of people complain about act 1 boss and the first ascend boss and I got act 1 in 3 tries and ascend first time.
i found it unreasonably hard (hardcore mode) at first but then i switched from pure melee slams to ranged totemboi and it's been really easy since. like run around and wait ez.

youre gonna have a slew of different opinions depending on what ppl chose to play.

i recommend tanky totemboi. i'll be doing that at least until im confident i saw and understand most mechanics.
