Too much visual effects on CO-OP POE 2

Yes much needed so bad.

Suggestion:

Make an option in graphics to hide allies effects and mininios. Or change the oppacity of the skills to make them less visual. Or hide them completly.

+1000000000000000000000

+1 and they need to let us pass through our f***ing allies, PLEASE. IT DOES NOT ADD ANYTHING GETTING STUCK ON TEAMMATES OR SUMMONS. IT DOES NOT ADD WEIGHT. IT IS STRICTLY WORSE.
HUGE BUMP!

This is still an issue
ill put my 40,000+ hours behind this.

this issue has killed multiplayer for me.
Innocence forgives you
Why why WHY?!?!?! Do we NOT have any ability to turn down the graphical effects from others in a group? come on devs, this is common sense stuff that we should have!

Do you devs even playtest your own game? It's an honest question! Do you devs actually PLAY your own game?? Especially in groups???

I literally cannot see the boss we are fighting when you have 2 or more people in the group with you. The screen is filled with all sorts of effects that blinds me, and I find myself dying to stupid ground effects or boss skills that I simply cannot see because of it!

I really had hoped that the devs would have made some real changes to the graphic settings by now, but apparently that is not important. Groups will be punished by blinding players because my screen is 100% of the time FILLED with all these other effects, I can't tell who is where or what or what or where the target is.

Try doing maps at tier 4 with ZERO respawns available, and you and friends are trying to do a map with interiors with small doorways in which you cannot get past another player, and suddenly someone dies because they couldn't get through that doorway because another player was in the way.

I really thought the devs learned from these serious game breaking issues, that are going to push a lot of players away, but that doesn't seem to be a worry.
bump

Playing with friends needs to be improved, the weight and integrity of the game is already lost when your screen is filled with shit. There is no point in adding weight like always seeing allies abilities or not being able to path through them. It does not add character to the game, only frustration. I want to play with my friends in the late game, see my screen and the monsters I kill, and be able to navigate tricky areas with them around without becoming frustrated.

Give us a toggle that allows us to cull teammates abilities like an aggressive dynamic culling option, so that we can turn it on when visual effects from our party members start to get a bit too insane. The players' effects are just too flashy to have many of, from different sources, and run the game/ see your screen (in the late game).

This subject was in my feedback video on 0.3 late game as one of my main points;

This problem makes the game unplayable for me, even in single-player. I'm playing a Huntress as a Ritualist, with Whirling Slash, Twister, Barrage, Triple Herald, and Trinity. I activate Barrage with 5 Frenzy charges and Twister after the third Whirling Slash.

Don't ask me how many Twisters are on screen, since I also have Adaptable Assault active in the skill tree (Projectiles have a 25% chance to fork...). But in combination with the Heralds, the Delirium fog, and the ridiculous green fog from the Abyssal mechanic, you don't even need co-op partners to no lomger see what the enemies are doing. You barely have a chance of not dying, but you're still punished with XP loss when you do.

My suggestion(s):

Let's disable the Delirium fog in the options; those who want it can leave it on.

But I don't need it; I know I'm running a Delirium map!

The same goes for the green Abyssal Mist. I know I have Abyssal content on my screen, but I don't need the mist for that. It just makes it unnecessarily difficult to see the effects of rare mobs.

I can only imagine how bad the Thunderstorm effect must be in co-op, since I only play solo, but I'm all for it. You don't need to see all of the other players' minions, or the Twisters, Sparks, etc.

The important things are enough, like the Flamewall, so the Ranger knows where to boost their projectiles.

Edit:

As soon as Abyssal content appears on the screen, my framerate drops from 90 to a constant 40, as if a limit is hardcoded in that situation. The Burning Fields of Ogham in the Interlude, withlike as they are there, or Flamewall, my framerate also drop from 90 to a constant 40, again as if it were hardcoded in that situation. If I move on so that the content disappears from the screen, it goes back to 90.

Playing COOP is fun, very fun. But...

Yesterday i was playing with 5 guys on my party and bro... I have a Geforce 4090 and was lagging and freezing because of the 1.000.000 skills on the screen.

And it was making the boss fights impossible, because i couldn't see the boss mechanics on the screen, i couldn't see what was going to happen and where the boss was going to hit. All the visual effects was blocking the view.

Suggestion:

Make an option in graphics to hide allies effects and mininios. Or change the oppacity of the skills to make them less visual. Or hide them completly.

Thank you for this awesome game!

We've been asking for this option for many years since the early days of Path of Exile 1. I have no idea why the developers won't give it to us.
