[PoE2][Feedback] Act 3 is super frustrating
Act 3 is super frustrating in its current state. Even in early game during Act 3.
I can only suggest to stay away from Act 3 until a major revamp or change of maps and mobs are applied .. or to do a speedrun from point to point only without exploring. After more than 40 hours of playtime in PoE2, I just had my very first and 2nd rage quit today with my level 40 Sorc .. Act 3 is super frustrating. And until nothing changes on it, I am not going to touch Act 3 anymore, or this would lead me to uninstall PoE2 until major changes and updates apply. On these Act 3 maps, you become locked, blocked, stunned, trapped, becoming one shot, poison is too strong, clearing maps unfun. Mobs are bugged, maps are glitched. Act 3 is highly not recommended to play on in its current state. As stated before, I have nothing against being killed .. but the map resets are heavily frustrating as stated here within my other thread :: [PoE2] Map reset after death should go !! :s BEST REGARDS, N3 Last edited by N3tRunn3r#8929 on Dec 10, 2024, 8:00:22 AM Last bumped on Jan 17, 2025, 11:02:11 AM

Once men turned their thinking over to machines in the hope that this would set them free. But that only permitted other men with machines to enslave them “The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.” |

sounds like a skill issue to me - get good!

Act 3 Locations are too big , with nothing much going on.
I suggest to add more secrets and bosses |

While Git Gud applies here, it’s also fair criticism about the delta between end of Act 2 and start of Act 3.
The maps become insanely huge, monster damage ramps up, 1-shot galore gets introduced with multiple drown attacks flying at you at once, enemies now slow you, … They could do all this, but introduce it more gently so it doesn’t feel like a wall, but like a ramp. Aside from that, I feel that Act 3 needs a lot of polish, it’s just not fun/engaging |

I join all the "big and boring" comments. While all maps are generated, acts 1 and 2 feel much more alive and kind of hand-made. Act 3 on the other hand is the total opposite - huge maps with just packs of mobs and pretty boring pace. I seriously feel that Act 3 maps are like 3 times the size of Act 1/2 maps but with the same (if not less) amount of content.

Act 3s massive size was really cool the first couple of levels, but after that it really overstays its welcome.
Don't know why every area needs to be so big. I haven't had that much problem with difficulty except for that female vaal boss you fight surrounded by troops. |
