Sacrificial Heart doesn't drop anymore in Act 3 Normal. Permanently lost 2 skill points.

The quest item is Sacrificial Heart, where you offer it at the altar in Aggorat to gain +2 skill points.

It worked for me on Cruel mode, but during my normal play through I think I threw the quest item away by accident ( not sure how I could do that either, maybe a bug ) And now as I came back to farm Utzaal zone in normal it doesn't drop anymore, no matter how long I spent farming.

My character is now effectively has -2 skill points compared to everyone else. I think it's totally on me, but not sure if there's a way to retrieve the lost quest item, or re-farming it so my character is not bricked ( not really bricked, but always 2 levels behind....).

Maybe the bug was that you can throw away the quest item. I remember when I threw it to the ground to make space, it's just gone, it's not highlighted so I can pick it up again...

same issue here. I clreared utzaal and aggorat fully and didnt get the heart. I remember deleting it when i first cleared act cruel 3 since i was past the sacrifice map and didnt plan on going back. Tought i could come back later and get another one. Worst thing is i picked up the sacrificial dagger now and since the heart doesnt drop i cant get rid of it. -2 skill points and -3 bag slots please fix

They way I fixed it was by getting to Cruel Act 3 and then I am able to use the waypoints for Act 3 to get the second set of skillpoints. I unfortunately had the heart already in my inventory so I didn't need to get another one to drop. But you might want to try going to Cruel Act 3 then waypoint back to Utzaal/Aggorat to get back to the correct one in Act 3 and see if it drops, I also had 2 hearts I think drop but can't remember if I died between my first one dropping and second one dropping.

I am having this same issue, over 100 hours into my character and I can't get 24/24 weapon skills

No word from GGG on fixing the bugs in campaign

im not sure if youve found a fix but i just went to the alter and interacted without having a heart in my inventory and it worked for me so you could just try that.

pick up the knife
interact with altar(with no heart in inventory)
and pray it works

guys just go to whatever alter u have left and do it without it in ur inventory. it seems the game dont forget uve had it in ur inven so when u piick the dagger up u can still interact with the altar. this had me confused first aswell but for me it worked

I can verify that even if you tossed both the heart and the dagger, you can just go to the alter and click it.

any update on this? I am tilting into another dimension sitting at 22/24. How the hell is this not fixed yet or able to be reset/restarted?
