Is stacking "rarity of items found" worth it in poe2?

after some time testing in atlas's maps, i realized that a rarity find build isnt viable on even tier one to b worth it. the lack of poer and defenses is too big. u'd have to b heavily carried in a party to make something out of it.

I'm sellin my rarity gear to buy a better gear set.

I have 244% Increased Rarity drop and can consistently clear T15 - T16 maps...

I feel like I see ZERO difference in currency drops...

I do feel I see a lot more rare's vs magic items... and said rares tend to have higher rolls for affix's

Maybe i need more testing but im about 15 T15 maps in and for sure the currency drops are the same... maybe just unlucky...

Normally I would say it doesn't, but rarity now gives those "tier 1-5" item drops which roll better.

I just learned from the research made by sliperyjim8 that rariry at 100 or close can b worth it after all.

Basicaly, he killed thousands of rare monster on same difficulty maps with different amounts of rarity.

the basic result is that u can get a lot more rarer items and 10% more orbs at 100% rariry b4 hitting diminishing returns.

And when i say diminishing returns, i mean 20% more orbs at 700%+ rarity! or so it seens.

I have tested more than 100 maps on each 300%+ rarity, 100% rarity and No rarity.

The results show that only the rarity of item drops is affected E.G. normal to magic and magic to rare, unique items and currencies are unaffected, currencies only are affected by quantity and biome.

just to clarify for everyone I have tested it with 5 socked rarity Regalia all on 15+ maps.

I am end game with ~215%-230% rarity and solo i usually find 3-5 exalted per map and depending on my RNG uniques too. I've found 4 uniques on a map but most of the time it's no uniques. Rarity increase the odds of better loot which includes all orbs, especially transmutation and augmation. Gold will drop less but when it does drop it has a chance to drop in much higher amounts. I see 2000-5000 pretty often. When playing in a group I hardly get anything. Lol I usually get the worst drops in groups with friends getting exalts to uniques and even divines. It feels like it stops working for me lol BUT WHEN I DO get a drop in groups it's often much better than what anyone else has found.
