Controller feedback

I'd Like to also Echo this feedback. These are the two major issues I am having as well...the inability to interact with item while enemies are around (it also happens when I have the bell out as monk) make the ascendancy trial where you have to interact with the gems to add time almost impossible.

Navigating the UI using the d-Pad is pretty painful especially crafting. allowing the mouse and keyboard to work as well would allow me to still interact with the UI.
There is Interact bind, it is set to A button by default.
if you rebind it to some slot with an action that is not attack it will work.

Personally I binded Interact to dpad at the same button as minimap. It is really helpful
Please let us switch seamlessly between controller and keyboard/mouse!

See D2R and Diablo 4 for reference. I'm not a fan of Diablo 4 but they really did do the controller/keyboard control very well. It is crazy that we need to drop back to character selection to switch between the two.

Not sure why GGG didn't prioritize switching between controller and keyboard and mouse to the top. Even D4 does this extremely well. Accessibility and ease of use of the User Interface should be a top priority, even more so over balancing. These are basic user functions.
It almost feels like when controller is detected at the main screen, game uses the build that's designed for consoles. So rather than adding/merging controller support to PC version, they opted to launch a console version. I'm hoping it's a early access thing and they'll have time to build a hybrid input setup.
I also want controller + mouse. Tried using controller but inventory really sucks.
+1 let us swap ffs ! that said you can set an interact button on controller to fix you issue with looting or interact with lab crystal or whatever so this at least works fine.
Echoing this sentiment as well.

The inability to use a mouse and controller at the same time is abysmal for inventory management. Linking items in chat through the controller is not very intuitive and it takes far too long to find the correct chat, link the item, then move back to the keyboard to type your message and finally send it to whoever you were speaking with.

Even adding new points into passives is difficult with the inability to switch between controller and keyboard.

It's a pity. Compared to mouse, stash management with controller only is a pain in the ass. I know some controller people who bought the early access, tried it out and kicked the game. PoE2 may be the better game, but controller handling is so much better in Diablo 4 at least if you are used to use a mouse.
