HELP!!! [POE2] Skill equipping bug

I tried playing around with skills linked with a weapon and suddenly when i ticked off I and II i cannot put my skill to skill slot and having errors. Also in the bugged skill info screen, the name off the skill is not updating plus the weapon I and II tick box is replaced by random symbols. Skill info screen says This information is currently unavailable. I have more than enough stats for skill requirement plus for the support gems. The problem is in the active skills. Persistent skills is not affected. I cannot continue playing my character as i cannot use any skills. Hoping for your immediate fix.

I got the same problem

i got the same problem as well :( cant bind the skills on keys anymore

I have the same problem, was about to post regarding this as well. Here's a screen from my game:



The bug appeared in my case after switching weapons, some of the skills were bounds to set I or II (possibly this one, which was boneshatter in my case).

Tried closing game and back on and still bugged, cannot slot boneshatter anumore. Tried removing weapons and putting back as well, and removing gem and putting back. Nothing has worked!

II have tried again as it was not fixed. I figured out as the skill gem was bugged. i replaced the same skill with a lower level skill since i created another character of the same job. when i replaced it with same skill with lower level it was working fine. So at least you know where to start the fix. i havent tried using the bugged skill gem as im still leveling my second character. hope you can apply fix for this bug. thanks

Thanks, I will try that, and also cheekily bumping this post because I think this bug has the potential to brick characters if people don't think of doing what Vsphyr suggested, and should be fixed rapidly.

This also happened to me. I haven't found a way to fix it and creating a new gem isn't ideal since I just corrupted it into a 5 link.

Bug is still an issue. Happened when I tried to set summoning skills between 2 different loadouts. Now none of the skills are accessible to bind outside of weapon specific skills (and shield)

I have the same problem. I Fixed it with Vsphyr32 method but I have to socketed my new skill gem. This problem should fix ASAP and must have some compensation.
