Unlock the Witch’s True Power: Early Game Minion Build Tips for Path of Exile 2

So I made an easy to follow video guide on how you can be OP early as a summoner witch in POE2. The video can be seen below and I hope that it helps. Take note that I'll be updating the guide and will add more on this thread later.

There's a lot of wrong info here, sorry.
First off, you are using too many skills. It is more efficient to specialise. You're trying too many things at once.
Very early on I recommend Contagion + Essence Drain with Pierce + Controlled Destruction, until you obtain SRS.

Snipers are bad. Take Arsonist. I recommend Magnified Effect + Scattershot for more overlapping AoEs that can multihit targets and clear packs in 2-3 seconds.
Arsonists are you main carries, even over SRS, and should be prioritised for Jeweled Orb as well.
Put Fire Infusion and Martial Tempo on your SRS, then replace Martial Tempo with Feeding Frenzy once you can.
Why you decided to use spirit gems on Unearth and Bonecage when your SRS is sitting at 1 is beyond me.
For Flame Wall, Arcane Tempo + Fortress or Arcane Tempo + Inspiration are most efficient.

Flame Wall + SRS spam (especially with Arsonists) wants to clear stuff quickly. Bothering with all of the extra stuff shows me you aren't exactly sure what you want with this, or what it's supposed to do.

And your title is wrong too. Nothing about this was nerfed.
What they nerfed is the Cast on Minion Death interaction giving you an afk loop.
You could Feeding Frenzy + Minion Instability on popping SRS, triggering CoMD, triggering Flame Wall, triggering SRS.

I'm sorry, but your "guide" is all over the place, and I recommend trying out a bit more before publishing "guides".

Unfortunately, Fae is right.

Most minions are trash. Bloodmage has no value leaving only infernalist, but even with them most of the stuff isn't needed for leveling.

Just use flame wall, raging skull, flammability, and pain offering. This will get you through all 6 acts with ease. Max the number of arsonists. Get a single cleric whenever you get high enough if you want but not really needed.

Once you get to mapping you can go for a real build. Bloodmage will still suck but Infernalist is fine but you'll still just do all the above but throw a puppy in the mix.

Newer player, what's SRS? was trying to map that to something in the video(s) but wasn't able to see what that referred to. Skele Reaver Summon? part of ascension?

Summon Raging Spirit - its a spirit gem, not a skill gem

Ah interesting that it's just "Raging Spirits" in game currently (yet typing summon for search only shows SRS). Thanks for clarifying!

i am using this guy's ideas and they work well in game

i have 2 clerics and spam arsonists, grim feast for survivability during boss fights cuz ur minions die and leave energy shield which i feel is worth 30 spirit + srs

I disagree with you on that point about Bloodmage. Melee Ice Bleed Flicker Blood Mage is hilariously fun in mapping and bossing.
