Still not working as of this post, just killed him again.

we also have the same problem, wont give us completion for Rootdredge. Also really annoying that we can't ascend.

Can confirm on Cruel difficulty, killed him last night. Zone icon remains "active".

Killed him 3 times in cruel difficulty (act 6) today and the icon is still not greyed out.
