Demon form - it's kinda bad? Discussion.
I've got a thread with some discussion and builds https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3620019
But tldr Ghostwrithe makes Demon Form usable. Capped Demonform is basically for a nice dodge roll. Uncapped Demonform is more interesting and with Ghostwrithe + dual Ming's Heart you can just about do a whole map without leaving DF (depending on how fast you loot lol). So, thanks to these uniques, I can't call it kinda bad anymore. Just pretty restrictive in how you have to set it up. Is it gonna be as good as Stormweaver Archmage? No, but you can crush T15s with it all the same. |

Am I the only one that thought it might be possible to put a build together that built enough life regen to counter the effect of Demon Form? As far as I can tell, the life that drains from you in Demon Form just ramps up and up exponentially until you hit 1hp. Wouldn't it be better to allow players to have a set number of hp regen to go for, and then theoretically you can stay in Demon Form indefinitely?

" You need to lower your life, so static life regen counts more, right now I have 375 life, and 140 life regen from life regen increase ruby's, and flat life regen on gear. With this, and some life on kill, I can easilly get up to around 100-120 demonflame stack, wich gives you about 1700%+ dmg. With proper shenanigans, like 2x Ming's ring, you can get like 200 stacks as well. With this, I don't really need dmg nodes on the skill tree. |

" Oh, sorry I think I misread your question, you can cap at 10 demonflame, and then, with relatively low hp regen, you can stay indefinetly in demonform. I had that build before this crazy uncapped one. |
