0.1.0b Patch Notes (restartless)

When you felt good because you had this big brain idea to use lvl1 spell as enabler for your dmg on bosses, but then it gets nerfed to the ground...

I legit thought i'm using weapon set change mechanic in intended way... Welp, guess i didnt. Back to 1 weapon gaming.
Amazing how many people are crying about nerfs or loot being too scare or even bosses having too much health, I'm currently running warrior and the learning curve just requires you to git gud hold your line GGG.

I can be as good as it gets, playing a game where loot doesn't drop is NOT fun.
Great decision making guys, agree with arrow nerfs but why would u ever nerf grenade, merc got 0 dps besides that, now merc cant even scale into maps.

Now im stuck at t1 maps, barely killing white mobs, cant craft, cant respec, scared of rerolling because of inconsistent nerfs

Atleast be consistent with ur decisions, there's a ton of builds with better dps, clear, survivability. For example minions, magnetic salvo, sunder, coc eye of winter...
Game's barely been out, nobody had the time to experiment, and we're already crying because a couple OP skills got nerfed. What's the point of having an interesting combat system with skill interactions if 3 or 4 skills just melt enemies on their own. The point is that you are meant to be trying things out and not sticking to the single skill with the highest damage number. Stop playing this like PoE1, it's not and it's good that way.
I still have the same problem. The game crashes on me every so often. I have tried all the solutions mentioned in this forum, and after patch notes, the same thing still happens to me...

Let's see how ur learning curve gonna help with 6 hours of mapping having 0 gear upgrades, and every currency wasted on craft attempts
It’s so funny to see so many delusional people saying to just git gud when they haven’t been hit by the nerf hammer and don’t understand why the nerf is way too much simply by never playing it.

The gas nade is specifically problematic nerf since crossbows just don’t have great damage and it’s extremely slow in doing anything unless you play 4d chess always inputting command 3 seconds ahead which not many people is able to and you still have to go back and pick up the loot if one drops unlike most other skills you can bulldoze levels with skills hit almost instantaneously. Even with the firewall “exploit” it’s not one of the class that just deletes jamanra in one minute or do stupid stuffs like perma stunning the boss.

The point is player would get the same dps as other players if only the player plays 4d chess. Regular joe is playing hard mode having halved dps since you need to wait for every god damn nade to explode, which is inherently sloppy experience. I thought the game is meant to reward skilled play, but this kinda just aint it when your display of skill on xbow just being on par with baseline of other classes.
Please do something about warrior gear, there is for sure some issue going on with it's drop rates. My inventory is full of crossbow and dex items even though I am a warrior meanwhile still using level 4 chest at level 33, people hoarding chaos orbs meanwhile I need to spend them for basic items
The gas arrow nerfs are fine as THAT was the problem, but gas grenade? it literally was not part of the tech that was being abused and is one of the clunkiest things to play. Now we get no damage for our effort. You have to pre aim the shot, account for the roll distance of grenades, kite properly and then make sure to land your second set of grenades on top of the first, all while accounting for monster movement due to the super long fuse timer... Any skill that takes that amount of setup should have a large amount of damage as a reward, otherwise what point is there in ever using the skill over one where you can just aim and shoot and get the same damage.

Also if you're going to constantly nerf skills at least give us a free skill tree reset so we can try something else.

You could also do something to adress the abysmal amount of currency and loot that is dropping. If you're going to nerf fun builds at least make the rest of the game fun to play, arpgs are meant to be about loot, lots of loot. You also said you wanted us crafting more in the acts, but no currency drops to actually craft with. Even with disenchanting all rares i dont need i've got exactly 2 regals, almost at a third, considering that most crafts brick at the aug step because for some reason there are no alts in this game, this just means crafting is hardly possible for average players.

You have a decent base of a game here, but some utterly bewildering decisions have been made on game balance, people play these games to get loot, that awesome next gear upgrade, that sick rare or amazing unique drop. Not to beat a boss with 10 sezxtillion HP and get 2 blues and some gold, D2 had better loot drops than this game.
