POE2 "unexpected disconnect"

I was able to play POE2 about 8 hours on launch day, since then for the last 2 days I wasn't even able to enter the queue, nothing.
I start the game, click on log in and get the "unexpected disconnection" error message.

Please fix this. I paid for early access.
I can understand issues on launch day, or widespread server issues later on, but I don't understand not being able to log in while many others seem to be able to play the game...

Is there any way to fix this?
Or is it a server issue that will be fixed soon?

What I tried so far:
-verify gamefiles
-clear steam download cache
-reboot modem
-made sure all drivers are up to date
-restarted the pc of course
-put POE2 on the white lists of the AV and firewall
-returned to default settings

Nothing helped, help would be appreciated.

UPDATE:

So with the steam launcher it worked for 8 hours flawlessly on launch day.
Since then 4 days straight "unexpected disconnection" errors.
Can't log in at all via steam client.

Then I downloaded the standalone client, and that worked.
I was able to play with 0 issues, once.
Tried it again today, and can't log in.
It says "disconnected from patching server before patching completed".

Since I was able to play using both clients it can't be my internet or rig.
There must be some issue developing after playing it once.
I tried the shaders fix, and all the other stuff that's recommended, but nothing worked.
Can someone help me out here?

Such a fun game, sucks I can't play after paying 30 bucks.

I never had a game I paid for not work at all and not getting any support.

Sucks, cause I really love this game, but if there's no help and a non-functioning game I might be forced to ask for a refund.
All I want is being able to log in and play, too much to ask?

I have massive problems playing the game since the update. The game would disconnect me as soon as I enter maps or try to leave maps via portal. It then would also delete the map I wanted to run. This is extremely frustrating as the map sustain doesn't seem to be good right now, even with atlas passive points.

Wrote them an email too and sent support a PM, still nothing.

Running into this issue now, currently verifying integrity of game files.

Running into the same issue post 0.1.0e update. I lost 3 maps, now my main character is locked out of logging in. Tried creating a new character to see if I could log in and had no issues. I'm currently in my hideout on my main and can't even log in.

I'm having the exact same problem right now. I cleared a map and wanted to teleport back to my hideout. Suddenly, I got disconnected. Everytime I want to login with that particular character (it works with others), I get the "An unexpected error occured" message.
