PoE 2 Fun Begins at Level 1 (You Aren't Having Fun because YOU were Conditioned to End Game)
It's really something reading some of the feedback posts, in the context of PoE2 not even being a week into EA. People who have already grinded dozens of hours, spammed endgame and concluded the game is boring/sucks/unbalanced/etc. They're playing the game as if their lives depended on it, instead of actually trying to enjoy the experience or even bothering to learn anything that doesn't relate to achieving immediate progress.
Not necessarily stanning for the current state of the game, but I hope GGG doesn't listen to the people already burning themselves out in early early access and instead focuses on improving the game more holistically. |

Gameplay is fun, but rewards are non-existent. Aarpg with soulslike elements but no power fantasy, always cheesing white mobs because they're more powerful than you for 25hours played is not my jam, took me several bossfights to realize, oh wait there is no loot. I have my lvl 15 quarterstaff at level 30 and I've gotten 2 regals and 2 exalts during 25 hours played, I'll be playing g
Ghost of Tsushima, trying Last Epoch or smthn until they get the effort/reward balance worked out. Great base but the balance is not there, love the bosses, love the music and artwork in the game, truly amazing. I'm interested in seeing how they will make it more diverse since we're locked Into these combo-builds, making it so we don't have as much player agency but steering us toward a more cookie cutter type of gameplay, maybe support gems. |

" Exactly, and that’s actually a good thing. The problem is that it’s being used to mask the lack of content. If we reached the endgame with what they’ve left us, we’d literally have nothing to do. Spamming Chaos Orbs endlessly is all we got instead of PoE1’s crafting system. And since the endgame and crafting mechanics are incredibly shallow, they’ve been forced to put us in a “challenge” involving ridiculous dodge-and-roll trials. |
