It's impossible to play the end game without the loot filter, I'm seriously thinking about stopping playing and coming back when they fix this. Console players are at an extreme disadvantage compared to PC players because of this.

Well, we have the announced about loot filter for consoles, but I have only default now, If I understood correctly - we will have it only after 0.1.1 update?
